Even so, he'll serve as a healthy scratch for the Flyers' seventh straight game Tuesday. There's been no indication from coach Craig Berube that he intends to return Lecavalier to a regular role in the near future.

Lecavalier (hip) will return to the ice for practice Monday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports. With six points in 16 games, Lecavalier is on pace to have his worse NHL season to this point, and he's even spent extensive time in the press box recently as a healthy scratch. To make matters worse, Lecavalier still has three more years on the five-year, $22.5 million deal that he signed with the Flyers in July of 2013.

With just three points in eight November games thus far, it doesn't look like Lecavalier in on track to gain much fantasy utility while he remains confined to a bottom-six role. Those hoping the 34-year-old will rediscover the fountain of youth and deliver the level of production he enjoyed with the Lightning may need a reality check.
