Fasth will start Tuesday's game against the Red Wings, Oilers announcer Jack Michaels reports. It was announced earlier Tuesday that Ben Scrivens would start for the Oilers on Tuesday night, but it will instead be Fasth getting the nod. Fasth won back-to-back starts Nov. 7 and Nov. 9, but neither he nor the Oilers have picked up the win in any of the 10 games he has appeared in since.

Fasth failed to make it out of the first period in Saturday's loss to the Flames, as he allowed three goals on six shots over less than nine minutes of action. In case you thought Fasth and the Oilers hadn't already hit rock bottom heading into Saturday's game, the goalie was somehow able to lower the bar a little further. As per usual, Fasth didn't get much help from his defense in stopping the opposition, as the Flames' Johnny Gaudreau was left virtually all alone on two occasions, resulting in a pair of goals just 16 seconds apart. The dismal outing dropped Fasth's record to 2-9-2 and his save percentage to an abysmal .881.

Fasth will get the start in goal Saturday against the Flames, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports. Fantasy players should avoid Fasth, and any Edmonton net minder, in all formats. Fasth is an abysmal 2-8-2 on the season, with an equally dreadful 3.29 GAA and .888 save percentage. Avoid Fasth at all costs.

Fasth played the final 55 minutes of Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Coyotes, surrendering three goals on 19 shot attempts. Despite playing over 80 percent of the game, Fasth didn't factor into the decision, as Ben Scrivens immediately put the Oilers in a 2-0 hole before he was pulled at the five-minute mark. Fasth marginally restored order upon taking over, but with the Oilers mustering just one goal on the night, he wouldn't have a shot at picking up the comeback victory. The loss was the Oilers' fifth in their five meetings on the season with the Coyotes, the Western Conference's second-worst team.

Fasth was yanked late in the second period after giving up three goals on 13 shots in Friday's 4-2 loss the Ducks. The nightmare season continues for the Oilers and their netminders, who haven't been able to turn around their horrendous season that has them dead last in the NHL with a 7-18-5 record. Only two of those seven wins have come courtesy of Fasth, so we'd avoid him at all costs in all formats unless you're absolutely desperate for a spot start against a similarly weak opponent.

Fasth will be in the crease Friday against the Ducks, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports. Fasth fared well in the matchup against his former team Wednesday night, stopping 32-of-34 shots in the 2-1 defeat. Keeping the team within one goal is good enough these days for an Oilers squad that has dropped 12 of 13 games, so Fasth will get the call in the rematch. He'll benefit from playing on home ice this time around, but Fasth's ugly numbers (3.11 GAA, .896 save percentage) on the season don't inspire much confidence.

Fasth turned aside 32 of 34 shots but came away with the loss as the Oilers fell 2-1 to the Ducks. There wasn't much else Fasth could do against the league's top team. Neither Fasth or Ben Scrivens have been able to help right the ship for the Oilers, as they're now losers of 12 of their last 13 games and sit firmly entrenched as the worst team in the NHL with 19 points. With that being said, it's difficult to recommend either Oilers netminder, especially when you factor in Fasth's .896 save percentage and 3.11 GAA.

Fasth will be in the crease Wednesday versus the Ducks. After yielding the net to Ben Scrivens the last three games, Fasth will get the nod against his former squad. The Oilers' recent 11-game losing skid allowed Fasth to reenter the conversation as the team's preferred option in goal, but Scrivens still looks to have an edge over him for that designation.

Fasth was torched for five goals on 24 shot attempts in Monday's loss to the Coyotes. The loss was the fifth straight for Fasth and the 10th in a row for the Oilers, who were beaten soundly by the Coyotes, who scored two short-handers and two goals with the man advantage. Fasth has seen more work in goal than Ben Scrivens of late, but both should be avoided if nearly any other starting alternative exists.

Fasth will start Monday against the Coyotes. Fasth has struggled lately, and is 2-5-2 on the season. He's currently in the heat of a competition for the starting netminder job with Ben Scrivens, so fantasy owners should follow the Oilers' goalie performances going forward no matter who starts.
