Fasth surrendered three goals on 15 shots before he was pulled after in the first minute of second period in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Senators.Backup Richard Bachman came on and was equally horrid in relief, so Fasth's standing as the team's No. 1 goalie shouldn't change. That being said, Fasth is 2-4-0 over six February starts, posting a 3.72 GAA and .875 save percentage. Even in leagues that start multiple goalies, fantasy owners might be better off leaving a slot empty rather than deploying Fasth.

Fasth led the Oilers on the ice for pregame warmups and will be in the crease for Saturday's game against the Senators, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports.Fasth will make his third straight turn with Ben Scrivens (hamstring) facing an indefinite return date. With save percentages below .900 in his previous three outings and a .889 mark over 24 games on the season, Fasth should be avoided even against a relatively low-scoring squad like the Senators.

Fasth allowed three goals on 26 shots, but ended up with a 4-3 overtime win against Montreal on Thursday. With the win, Fasth snaps a three-game losing skid, but his inconsistent play and the Oilers' unreliable offense mean he's not a very reliable option even with Ben Scrivens (hamstring) sidelined.

Fasth is slated to start Thursday's game against Montreal, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports.Fasth, who has dropped his last three turns, allowing 10 goals in the process, draws another start Thursday, with fellow goalie Ben Scrivens dealing with a hamstring injury.

Fasth was slapped with his third consecutive loss Tuesday against the Islanders, giving up three goals on 28 shots in a 3-2 defeat.Fasth's got the starting job in Edmonton essentially to himself -- Richard Bachman isn't much of a challenge -- while Ben Scrivens' hamstring has him out of action, but there's not much fantasy value to be found in the Edmonton crease.

Fasth will be in the crease for Tuesday's game against the Islanders. With Ben Scrivens out indefinitely after tweaking his hamstring in Monday's win over the Devils, the Oilers net should belong exclusively to Fasth over the next several games. The team has generally employed a platoon all season between the two goalies, so this could represent the first opportunity for Fasth to make several starts in a row. That should give Fasth's value in an uptick in leagues that heavily weight counting stats, but it's hard to imagine the goalie offering much usefulness with his ratios. He enters Tuesday's match with a deplorable 3.34 GAA and .889 save percentage on the season.

Fasth made 23 saves in a 5-1 loss to the Maple Leafs on Saturday night. Well, it sucks to be an Oiler and it sucks even more to be the guy who let the Leafs snap a franchise-worst 11-game losing streak. His season record isn't great, but three of his five wins this season have come in his last six starts. He appears to be trending upward, but just remember -- the Oilers are still struggling, so when they do, they allow too much unfettered access to the net. And that makes Fasth a fantasy risk even with his improved play.

Fasth will be in the crease for Saturday's game against the Maple Leafs. Fasth will earn a third straight start after stopping a respectable 57 of 63 shots over his last two outings, which came in tough matchups against the Sharks and Penguins. While Fasth's two performances in those games were nothing exceptional, they were at least good enough to keep the Oilers competitive, which is all the team can ask for at this point. While he's normally not normally a goalie fantasy owners should rely upon, Fasth looks like a relatively safe play against a Leafs squad that has dropped 11 games in a row, scoring one or fewer goals nine times during that stretch.

Fasth allowed two goals on 26 shots in Wednesday's 2-0 loss to the Penguins. Fasth has been disappointing for the Oilers this season, although Wednesday's loss was clearly not his fault. His save percentage on .892 is way below the league average, and will need to come up a lot if he wants to become a viable option for fantasy owners.

Fasth will be in the crease for Wednesday's game against the Penguins, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports. Fasth has more than doubled his season victory total over his last four starts, winning three of those contests to improve his record to 5-11-2. He needed his offense to bail him out in two of those wins, however, so it's probably not reasonable to say that Fasth has turned the corner in what has been a miserable season. He doesn't make for an attractive option against an occasionally potent Penguins squad.
