Krug notched an assist in Sunday's 4-0 win over Montreal, taking his point streak to four games.
EDGE Analysis
The pint-sized defenseman now has a goal and four assists in his last four games, but has quietly been on fire for nearly the last two months. In the 24 games since Dec. 22, Krug has 22 points, including four goals. Another encouraging sign for fantasy owners is the fact that Krug's current streak has coincided with Bruce Cassidy's first three games behind the bench. The Bruins have pushed the pace and encouraged defensemen to get more involved in the rush during each of the three contests. This change of style will better serve Krug's abilities and should result in his name continuing to show up on the scoresheet.

Krug logged a team-high 24:49 worth of ice time (including 3:46 on the power play) in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Through 54 games, Krug has recorded four goals and 31 points to go along with a minus-10 rating. The mobile blueliner is one of six Bruins to have suited up for all of the team's games, which is notable, given that Krug underwent a shoulder procedure this past offseason. With consistent power play time and his willingness to fire the puck (151 shots to date), Krug should continue to be a solid fantasy contributor down the stretch, especially if he keeps his plus/minus numbers in check.

Krug extended his goal streak to three games Saturday with a goal and an assist in a win over Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
He has five points (three goals, two helpers) in those three games and 14 points in his last 12 games. Krug has rebounded nicely following a slow start to the season -- he was held without a point in his first nine games, but now has 28 in 46. Krug is a mandatory play right now. Use him well.

Krug found twine for the second consecutive contest (and the third time this season) in Thursday's loss to Nashville, scoring an unassisted power-play goal.
EDGE Analysis
It was Boston's lone goal on the night. The hockey gods are finally starting to reward Krug, who had only five goals on his last 365 shots dating back to the start of last year before he broke through Tuesday against the Blues. He stayed productive even when he wasn't putting the puck in the net, so now that he's gaining some confidence from getting the monkey off his back, fantasy owners should expect a strong run down the stretch.

Krug notched a goal and an assist -- both on the power play -- in Tuesday's 5-3 victory over St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
He's been about as productive a blueliner as you'll see in recent weeks, netting 11 points in his last 10 games, with five of those on the man advantage. Krug hasn't been shooting too much -- he's taken one or zero shots in six of those 10 contests, including Tuesday -- but that's not stopping him from being highly productive anyway. He's only been rewarded with two goals on 122 shots this season, so he should see a few more pucks cross the line in the second half as his stats normalize.

Krug picked up two assists -- one on the power play -- in Thursday's 3-1 win over Florida.
EDGE Analysis
Krug had been struggling to hit the scoresheet throughout December -- just four assists scattered over 11 games -- but he's generally been firing pucks on net with regularity. Even though he didn't register a shot on goal Thursday, Krug has 106 in 36 games this season. Only Brent Burns and Aaron Ekblad have taken more shots from the blue line, and Krug continues to play an integral role in the Boston power play. He'll start breaking through for more goals soon enough.

Though Krug skipped the Bruins' optional morning skate, the blueliner logged 19:26 worth of ice time in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
In the process, Krug logged four shots in the game, while seeing 4:04 worth of power play time. Through 31 games this season, Krug -- who has helpers in two of his last four outings -- has logged one goal and 13 points. Given that he has fired off a total of 93 shots this season, second to Brad Marchand (94) among Bruins, we expect that with a little puck luck, the goals should eventually arrive at a more brisk pace for the mobile blueliner.

Krug missed practice with an illness Monday, but is expected to be ready to go for the game later in the evening against Florida, Joe Haggerty of CSN New England reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old is a crucial cog in both the defensive and power-play game plan for the Bruins, so his status for the game is key for the team. The offensively talented blue liner has 11 points in 25 games. With 77 shots already, if he's able to find the back of the net on more of his opportunities, he could be an even better fantasy option.

Krug notched two assists and two shots on goal during Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss to Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
Krug was instrumental in Boston's comeback efforts, notching his second straight game of two helpers. Goals are scarce for the blueliner, but he's a consistent threat to create for his teammates (40 assists last season). Despite his minus-6 rating, owners should be pleased with 10 points through 23 contests.

Krug contributed two assists and was tagged for seven PIM in Sunday's win over Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
A strong fantasy outing for Krug, who has managed eight points in 22 games this season. The 25-year-old is logging heavy minutes and appears to have put a slow start behind him, as he's now got four points in his last five games. Krug plays on the power play and has strong offensive instincts, so even though he doesn't have the strongest offensive totals right now, stick with it, as he's very talented and appears to be heating up.
