Krug (lower body) won't play in Monday's playoff game against the Senators, the Boston Globe reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Brandon Carlo and Adam McQuaid also sidelined and Colin Miller iffy for Monday's contest, Tommy Cross or Matt Grzelcyk could join the B's blue line mix for Game 3 of the team's first-round series against Ottawa. Though Krug is considered day-to-day at this stage, we'd be surprised if Boston's top puck-moving defender ended up being a lineup option for Wednesday's Game 4.

Krug (lower body) continues to sport the day-to-day label as Monday's Game 3 tilt against the Senators inches closer.
EDGE Analysis
Krug has missed each of the team's last three contests with the lower-body ailment and there's nothing at this point to suggest his return is on tap. Another update on his status should arise on game day, but his absence, along with a trio of other injured defensemen, could force the Bruins to look to Providence for additional depth along the blue line.

Krug (lower body) is projected to miss Game 2 against the Senators on Saturday, NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Bruins are hobbled on the blue line with Krug, Colin Miller (lower body) and Brandon Carlo (upper body) all trying to work their way past their respective ailments. As a result, this latest report indicates that we should expect Joe Morrow to fill in for Miller, and prospect Charlie McAvoy should continue occupying Krug's spot on the top pair with Zdeno Chara.

Krug (lower body) didn't make the trip to Ottawa in advance of Wednesday's playoff opener against the Senators, Joe Haggerty of CSN New England reports.
EDGE Analysis
That also applies to fellow defender Brandon Carlo, though coach Bruce Cassidy indicated that either player could potentially meet the team between Games 1 and 2 of the B's first-round series, if they are deemed ready. The duo's absence is a tough hit to the Bruins' blue line depth to start the postseason, but there's hope that heralded prospect Charlie McAvoy can help fill the void on that front.

GM Don Sweeney relayed Monday that Krug (lower body) is unlikely to play in Wednesday's playoff opener against the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
With fellow blueliner Brandon Carlo definitely out for Game 1 of the Bruins' first-round series, heralded prospect Charlie McAvoy has joined the team and appears poised to help fill the back line void created by Krug and Carlo's injuries. As the postseason approaches, expect vague injury updates from the Bruins on Krug, but we'd be very surprised if he's available Wednesday, and beyond that his status is cloudy. Krug, who logged eight goals and 51 points in 81 games this season, is thus a risky roll in playoff pools, as well as daily formats, at least for the time being.

Krug (lower body) has been ruled out for Saturday's matchup with the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Krug's season-long ironman streak will ironically come to a screeching halt on the final day of the Bruins' regular season. In 2016-17, the 25-year-old recorded new career highs in assists (43) and points (51) while averaging 21:36 of ice time, including 3:16 on the power play. The severity of his injury is unclear at this point, but he'll take the weekend to rest up and will set his sights for a return during Boston's postseason campaign.

Krug will not return to Thursday's game against the Senators due to a lower-body injury.
EDGE Analysis
Krug left midway through the first period and was ruled out for the rest of the contest shortly thereafter. The Michigan native recorded one shot on goal in 2:32 of ice time before leaving the game and he should be considered questionable ahead of Sunday's season finale with Washington.

Krug picked up a goal and an assist -- both on the man advantage -- and fired seven shots in Tuesday's 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
With every point he racks up now, Krug just keeps building up his new career high -- currently 48. Some of that improvement is canceled out by the fact that he's also sitting on an easily career-worst minus-14 rating, but the fact remains that Krug has grown into easily the most reliable point producer on the Boston blue line.

Krug assisted on both of Boston's goals during Monday's loss to Ottawa.
EDGE Analysis
The two-helper night improved Krug to six goals and 44 points for the year, which also tied his career-high mark in the points column. With 16 games left in the season, this is sure to be Krug's best offensive campaign, and the 25-year-old defenseman has firmly established himself as a high-end fantasy asset in all settings. Amazingly, he still presents nice value in daily contests.

Krug posted three assists, one of which came on the power play, in a 6-3 victory over the Stars on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old snapped his point streak Wednesday against the Ducks, but he started a new one Thursday and picked up his second multi-point effort of the month versus Dallas. Since Feb. 4, Krug has a goal and 10 points in eight games. The strong month has Krug just three points shy his career-high 44 points from last season.
