DeAngelo scored two goals on his three shots and contributed a pair of hits in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
DeAngelo collected both of his goals in the second period, getting the Rangers on the board at even strength, then adding a power-play tally with two minutes left later in the frame. He now has three goals on the season, one fewer than he scored in 61 games last season. DeAngelo did put up 30 points in those 61 games, so he's a defenseman to keep an eye on if he can replicate or best that kind of pace.

DeAngelo dished out an assist in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
DeAngelo was sloppy in this one with a game-high seven giveaways, but he made fantasy owners happy with his helper on New York's first goal. His 1:59 of power-play time was 14 seconds short of Jacob Trouba's high-water mark among the team's defensemen, so DeAngelo appears primed to offer some nice value after posting 30 points in 61 appearances last season.

DeAngelo signed a one-year, $925,000 contract with the Rangers on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
DeAngelo has ended his hold out with the Rangers, but figures to be right back in the same situation next offseason as a restricted free agent. The New Jersey native will have to compete with youngster Adam Fox for top-four minutes on the blue line, but is a lock for the 23-man roster. Having just signed with the club, DeAngelo will probably have to wait for a Sept. 24 matchup against the Islanders for his first taste of preseason game action.

DeAngelo (lower body) did not report to Rangers camp Thursday due to his contract situation, Brett Cyrgalis of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
DeAngelo could still sign his one-year, $874,125 qualifying offer, but clearly believes he should be given better terms by the club. The 23-year-old may have to wait until some of the other RFA defensemen (Ivan Provorov, Brandon Carlo, or Charlie McAvoy) sign in order to really get a feel for the market, though DeAngelo is unlikely to garner similar AAV. Still, the New Jersey native is coming off a career year in which he set personal bests in games played (61), assists (26) and points (30).

New York extended a qualifying offer to DeAngelo (lower body) on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
DeAngelo had his best season yet as a pro in 2018-19, setting career highs in assists (26), points (30) and games played (61) while posting a plus-6 rating. The former Coyote could easily surpass the 40-point mark in 2019-20 if he's able to stay healthy.

DeAngelo has a lower-body injury and won't play in Saturday's game versus the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
DeAngelo was able to play through this lower-body injury Friday, but he'll be put on the shelf for the season finale. The 23-year-old had a solid season on the Rangers' blue line with 30 points in 61 games, and he'll look to build on that next campaign.

DeAngelo (lower body) is listed among the warmup lines, indicating he will suit up for Friday's contest against the Blue Jackets, Colin Stephenson of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
DeAngelo was given a late GTD designation thanks to a lower-body issue popping up, but it won't ultimately cost him any action. The blueliner has taken advantage of his expanded role this season by racking up a career-high 30 points -- four goals and 26 assists -- making him both a season-long and daily option along the blue line. The 2014 first-round pick will certainly hold a much higher spot on draft boards next season than he did entering 2018-19.

DeAngelo will be a healthy scratch Monday in Edmonton, Colin Stephenson of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
DeAngelo spent significant time in the press box earlier this season, but it seemed like he had gotten past the point of being a scratch candidate thanks to 11 assists in his last 13 games. Turns out, that's not the case. Coach David Quinn will opt to roll without the enigmatic young blueliner or 2017 seventh-overall pick Lias Andersson for this road contest, likely clearing the path for Marc Staal rest to rejoin the team's defense corps.

DeAngelo notched an even-strength assist in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
Don't look now, but DeAngelo is on an eight-game point streak comprised of nine helpers. This is a level of offensive consistency that even forwards dream of establishing, so we recommend that fantasy owners overlook the Rangers' seventh-place divisional standing and take a chance on the American defenseman.

DeAngelo picked up an assist against the Bruins on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
DeAngelo has points in each of his two games back after having served as a healthy scratch in the pair of contests prior. The New Jersey native will need to keep producing if he is going to hold down a spot in the lineup, but could benefit from additional minutes if coach David Quinn continues to utilize 11 forwards and seven defensemen instead of the standard 12/6 lineup.
