Mason will start Sunday's game against the Penguins, Tim Panaccio of CSN Philadelphia reports. With a back-to-back coming up this weekend, the Flyers will unsurprisingly save Mason for a game against their hated rival. Mason stopped 24-of-25 shots to pick up the win in his last outing, which also came against the Penguins.

Mason allowed one goal on 25 shots in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Penguins. Mason was stellar once again Wednesday night, and was able to record his third straight game with a save percentage over .950. If the Flyers can manage to shore up their defense next season, Mason could be an elite fantasy netminder.

Mason is slated to start Wednesday's game against the Penguins, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. While Mason's 15-17-11 mark isn't stellar, he heads into Wednesday's action with a .927 save percentage, which gives him a chance to finish the season with the highest save percentage in franchise history, at least since the league officially started keeping the stat in 1982. Roman Cechmanek, who turned in a .925 save percentage in 2002-2003, currently holds the team mark on that front.

Mason made a remarkable 42 saves in Saturday's shootout loss to San Jose. Not only did he stand on his head in regulation, but he forced the shootout to five rounds. He has quietly resurrected his career, although we'd like to see him stay healthy. But his 2.25 GAA and .926 save percentage heading into action Saturday are worthy numbers.

Mason will be between the pipes for Saturday's game against the Sharks, NHL.com's Adam Kimelman reports. Mason is coming off a brilliant turn against the Blackhawks on Wednesday, during which he stopped 34 of 35 shots to steal a win for the Flyers. Though his record remains below the .500 mark for the season, Mason has done his best to keep the squad competitive, churning out a 2.25 GAA and .926 save percentage over his 45 outings. He'll be opposed by Sharks backup goalie Alex Stalock on Saturday.

Mason stopped 34 of the 35 shots he faced in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Blackhawks. Mason has played well for the struggling Flyers this season, though his 15-17-10 record may not show it. He currently has a save percentage of .926 and a GAA of 2.25, both of which rank in the top 10 in the NHL.

Mason (illness) will be in the net Wednesday against the Blackhawks, Bill Meltzer of NHL.com reports. The Flyers ended up making Mason a late scratch for their last game Saturday against the Oilers after the goalie came down with an illness during warmups. Mason was able to remain on the bench as a backup to Ray Emery for the game, and with a few days to recover, it looks like he's now back to full health. He'll face a tall task in trying to slow down Jonathan Toews and the high-flying Blackhawks, but the netminder has been stellar at the Wells Fargo Center against just about any opponent this season. In 23 appearances (22 starts) at home this season, Mason is 13-5-4 with a 1.97 GAA and .936 save percentage.

Mason felt ill after warmups Saturday and was a late scratch, CSN Philadelphia's Tim Panaccio reports. Ray Emery got the start in net instead of Mason on Saturday, but Mason was back on the bench for the start of the second period and the team says he will be fine moving forward.

Mason will get the start in goal for Saturday's game in Edmonton, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports. Mason's brutal road production -- he's 1-12-6 with a 2.64 GAA and .912 save percentage over 22 appearances -- has been his greatest downfall this season, but if there's one place where he can turn the tide, it's in Edmonton. The Oilers will get star winger Taylor Hall back from a long-term ankle injury Saturday, but the team is still woefully undermanned across the roster, as its 19-39-13 record would suggest. Mason's won't necessarily be a top-tier daily option Saturday, but those in season-long leagues can probably play him with confidence.

Mason was pulled from Thursday's loss to Calgary late in the second period after allowing two goals on 16 shots. A stunning early hook for Mason -- sure, Calgary had scored twice on him in a span of less than two minutes, but that's not a lot of leash for a guy who's been one of the few bright spots for a brutal Philadelphia team. Especially when Ray Emery is the other option. Mason has just 14 wins in 45 games (42 starts), but you can hardly pin that on him -- he's got a .925 save percentage despite playing behind a team that's been well below average defensively (and offensively).
