Mason stopped 30 of 34 shots in Tuesday's win over Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
Mason was making his first start since Dec.23 and he came up with a few key saves to earn the Jets their third straight victory. Mason still gave up four goals, however, as his failure to really impress since arriving in Winnipeg is a prime reason he's only started 10 games. The Jets are a powerhouse, so despite his lackluster .897 save percentage, Mason is worthy of a spot start when he gets that rare nod.

Mason will get the starting nod against the Sabres on Tuesday, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason will be making his first appearance between the pipes since Dec. 23 against the Islanders. The veteran has lost each of his three most recent outings -- along with a 3.89 GAA -- so it shouldn't come as a surprise coach Paul Maurice has relied heavily on No. 1 Connor Hellebuyck. The bench boss seems to be playing the odds as he turns to Mason versus the league's worst offense (2.19 goals per game).

Mason allowed five goals on 29 shots during Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
The Jets came out flat for this afternoon road game, and the Islanders jumped out to an early 2-0 lead and never looked back. While this was obviously a discouraging showing from Mason, it's definitely worth noting that New York entered averaging 3.5 goals per contest (second highest in the league), so it was a tough setup all around. It's been a discouraging stretch for the first-year Jet, as he struggled to start the season and is just now returning from a concussion. There's still potential for him to find a groove and be a serviceable fantasy asset, though. He entered Saturday with a .948 save percentage and 1.71 GAA through his previous six outings, after all.

Mason will guard the cage versus New York on Saturday, Brian Munz of TSN 1290 Winnipeg reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason has been very solid in his six recent -- albeit infrequent -- performances with a 2-2-1 record and 1.71 GAA. Despite Connor Hellebuyck's impressive start to the year, the veteran Mason could get a few additional looks down the stretch, if only to avoid wearing down Hellebuyck heading into the postseason.

Mason made 28 saves for the Jets in Saturday's 2-0 loss to the Blues. It was his first game back since being hit in the head by a puck on Nov. 25.
EDGE Analysis
Mason looked sharp, but got zero help from the Jets. He will likely yield to Connor Helebuyck next game. Still, it's good to see Mason back in game action.

Mason will start in goal against host St. Louis on Saturday, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Blues will face the Jets on consecutive days, with Mason drawing the road start. This will be his first game back after clearing concussion protocol and getting removed from injured reserve Monday. The Notes are ranked eighth in averaged shots per game (34), and Mason hasn't inspired confidence in his fantasy owners that he can slow down such a potent attack. He's gone 2-4-1 with a 3.45 GAA and .904 save percentage in his debut campaign with Winnipeg.

Mason (concussion) was taken off injured reserve Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Mason will resume his role as the No. 2 behind Connor Hellebuyck now that he is back to 100 percent. The veteran missed the previous seven outings due to his concussion and while he will be the lineup Monday versus Vancouver, he will be watching from the bench. Given the emergence of Hellebuyck this season, Mason will likely spend more time observing than playing moving forward.

Despite passing concussion protocol, Mason won't be activated until Monday at the earliest, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports, relaying information from Jets coach Paul Maurice.
EDGE Analysis
Mason, who reportedly will go through a "hard workout," has missed the past six games, and he'll be out for at least one more with the Jets on the road to face the Lightning on Saturday evening. Connor Hellebuyck is entrenched as the No. 1 starter in Winnipeg, which means you'd have to be in a deep league to find value in an injured Mason perhaps itching to improve upon his 2-4-1 record, 3.45 GAA and .904 save percentage.

Mason (concussion) will rejoin the Jets for full practice soon, but has not passed the concussion protocol yet, ruling him out for Tuesday night's road contest against the Red Wings, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wiebe notes that Mason is progressing and trending in the right direction, but his ability to return to game action will largely depend on when he can pass through the concussion protocol. It remains to be seen if he'll be able to do so before Thursday's game in Florida, but for the time being, Eric Comrie will continue to serve as Connor Hellebuyck's backup.

Mason (concussion) will accompany the Jets on their three-game road trip that starts with Tuesday's contest in Detroit, Sean Reynolds of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran backstop in his first year with the Jets reportedly skated with the team's goalie coach Saturday, which is a step in the right direction as far as his recovery goes. Still, Winnipeg isn't in first place within the Central Division due to his 3.45 GAA and .904 save percentage. It's been No. 1 goalie Connor Hellebuyck putting this team on his shoulders and snagging 14 wins through 21 games. Once Mason is ready, though, look for Eric Comrie to head back to the minors.
