Couturier scored two goals, one on the power play, while adding one assists and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
It's taken a while, but the 25-year-old is finally delivering on the promise that made him the eighth overall pick in 2011. Couturier now has 25 goals through 43 games -- smashing his previous career high of 15 -- and he's been even hotter lately, posting three straight two-goal performances and lighting the lamp nine times in the last seven games. He'll cool down eventually, but if he can avoid the injuries that have cost him 35 games over the last two seasons, Couturier's increased ice time and extra shifts with the man advantage should still keep him well ahead of his usual scoring pace in the second half.

Couturier netted a pair of goals -- one on the power play -- in Sunday's win over the Sabres.
EDGE Analysis
Couturier scored twice against the Blues on Saturday and then turned in a repeat performance Sunday in the team's final game before the Bye Week. The 25-year-old has scored in three straight games and is having a breakthrough offensive season for the ages. The top-line center has racked up 23 goals and 42 points in 42 contests and is sporting a tidy plus-14 rating. Considering every goal or assist he records is a new career high, the red-hot Couturier is a must-own in all formats.

Couturier scored twice in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
Couturier is on fire right now. He has seven points, including four goals, in his last four games and 10 points (six goals) in his last eight. The goals give Couturier 40 points (41 games), which establishes a new career mark. And he has topped the 20-goal mark for the first time in his seven-year career. Couturier came to the NHL with an offensive pedigree, but he performed in a shutdown role until now. Patient owners are reaping the reward.

Couturier tacked on two points -- comprised of a power-play goal and an assist -- along with seven PIM in Thursday's 6-4 home win over the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
The breakout season continues for Couturier, who is on pace to shatter his previous career-high of 39 points. He's up to 19 goals and just as many assists through 40 games, and he's also already tied a personal best with seven man-advantage points. His seven PIM from this latest contest was just icing on the cake.

Couturier lit the lamp and added a pair of helpers in a 5-3 win over the Lightning on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Couturier has been quietly contributing all season for his owners, but there was nothing quiet about this performance. He's now scored in four of his past five games and he's topped 20 minutes of ice time in each of his past seven contests. He probably won't sustain his average of nearly a point per game, but a 60-point season is now a realistic target.

Couturier scored the game-winning goal and added an assist during Tuesday's 4-2 win over Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old center's breakout campaign continues, as he's now up to 15 goals, 15 assists and 91 shots through 30 games. Considering Couturier has never hit the 40-point mark in a single season, the 2011 eighth overall selection is well on his way obliterating his previous career bests. As long as Couturier is locked into a top offensive role, he should remain a solid asset in the majority of fantasy settings.

Couturier registered a goal, an assist, two shots and two hits through 20:44 of ice time during Friday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
This was the eighth multi-point outing of the season for Couturier, and he's already well on his way to a career-best showing with 13 goals and 24 points through 23 games. The 26-year-old center projects to remain a go-to fantasy asset as long as he's skating with Jakub Voracek and Claude Giroux in all situations, and non-believers should remember that Couturier has flashed similar offensive upside in spurts over the previous four seasons.

Couturier scored his 11th goal of the season and added an assist in Thursday's loss to the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
The Flyers had been shutout in there previous two outings, but Couturier did his best to try and help them get back into the win column Thursday. The 24-year-old has now posted 21 points and a solid plus-14 rating through 19 contests. Philadelphia is going through a rough patch, but Couturier's monstrous offensive breakout season makes him worth inserting into your lineup whenever the Flyers take to the ice.

Couturier picked up two helpers in Thursday's win over the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
It was a scary night for Couturier fantasy owners, as the top-line center took a late blindside hit from former teammates Brayden Schenn in the second period. Couturier left the game, but returned for the third period and helped set up Claude Giroux's empty-net tally. He appears to be fine, which is fantastic, as Couturier is having an insane start to the season, racking up nine goals and 17 points in 14 games. He won't keep producing at this rate, but as long as he sticks on the top line and first power-play unit, Couturier should be a very reliable source of offensive production this season.

Couturier delivered two goals -- including a power-play tally -- in Monday's 4-3 home loss to the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
The top-six pivot was huge in helping the Flyers orchestrate a rally to force overtime, but it still wasn't enough, as the 'Yotes narrowly escaped for their first win of the season. Did you know that Couturier now has as many goals (nine) as Toronto's sophomore sensation Auston Matthews? No? Well, now you do, and this note should serve as a reminder to start each of those guys every time they hit the ice.
