Couturier (undisclosed) might miss Game 4 against the Penguins on Wednesday, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Flyers have been reluctant to divulge information on Couturier's injury after the up-and-coming pivot left practice Tuesday having collided with teammate Radko Gudas and flipping head over heels. Early indications are that Couturier's status will come down to pregame warmups.

Couturier left Tuesday's practice session with a limp after absorbing an open-ice hit, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Flyers are still evaluating the two-way breakout star, but we can't help but wonder why Couturier would be taking open-ice hits in practice. He was instrumental in Friday's Game 2 win over the Penguins by dropping in a goal and two power-play helpers, and fantasy owners invested in him for the playoffs have little choice but to hold their collective breath. Still, rest assured that the American pivot will be reevaluated ahead of Game 4 on Wednesday.

Couturier recorded a goal, two power-play assists, a plus-2 rating and two shots on goal in a whopping 27:15 of ice time during a 5-1 victory over the Penguins in Game 2 of the first round of the playoffs on Friday. The series is tied 1-1.
EDGE Analysis
After posting a minus-4 rating and just one shot in Game 1, Couturier said he had to better and he was. Only defenseman Ivan Provorov was on the ice for either team more, which says a lot about how much Flyers coach Dave Hakstol trusts Couturier. The only area where he didn't excel was the faceoff circle, but Couturier made his presence felt at even strength and on the power play. His play remains a key for the Flyers moving forward in the first round.

Couturier recorded two assists -- one on the power play -- during Saturday's 5-0 win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old center takes a three-game point streak into the postseason and will need to continue scoring regularly if Philadelphia is going to advance to Round 2. Couturier's promotion to the No. 1 line was a smashing success, as his 31 goals and 45 assists obliterate his previous-career high marks (15 and 28), and he also deserves some credit for Claude Giroux's huge offensive rebound this year.

Couturier notched two helpers in a 4-3 win over the Hurricanes on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
To call this a breakout season for Couturier would be an understatement. He's notched 74 points with one game to go, which almost doubles his previous career high of 39. What's encouraging is that he did this thanks to a major uptick in minutes (and power-play time), not because of an unsustainable shooting percentage. The 25-year-old will find himself being drafted much higher next season by fantasy owners hoping this isn't a fluke.

Couturier recorded a power-play goal and an assist in Tuesday's 5-4 road loss to the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
The two-way pivot now has at least one point in five straight games, and even though he hadn't converted a goal in over a month heading into Tuesday's action, Couturier has blown his previous career high of 39 points out of the water this year. Philadelphia's eighth overall pick from the 2011 draft is up to 30 goals and 40 assists through 74 games, with 13 man-advantage points baked into that total.

Couturier picked up two assists and four shots on net in a 6-3 win over the Capitals on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
That gives Couturier a four-game point streak, although it is worth noting that this is his first multi-point game in 17 outings. Not that the 25-year-old has had issues with scoring in this breakout campaign. He now has 68 points in 73 contests.

Couturier scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over the Blue Jackets on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The center broke his modest three-game point streak Tuesday, but he bounced back with an important goal to knock off a division rival Friday. And every goal Couturier gets from here on out sets a new personal best. That's 29 this season and a career-best 58 points. He also has two goals and seven points in the last five games.

Couturier scored a goal and added a pair of assists en route to a 4-1 win in Vegas on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
What a performance by the 25-year-old, whose 28th goal of the season opening the scoring for the visitors. Couturier then grabbed the primary helpers on each of the team's next two goals, upping his point total to 57 while handing Vegas its fourth regulation home loss.

Couturier recorded two assists during Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win against Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
The first helper came with the man advantage and the second was on the game-winning goal in overtime, as Couturier continues to be a driving force for the Flyers. He's now up to 26 goals and 23 assists through 48 games for the campaign, but fantasy owners will definitely want to note that his 17.8 shooting percentage is likely unsustainably high, so there could be some negative regression ahead in the goal column.
