Patrick Sharp is hoping that returning home might boost Chicago after three straight losses. "We have to find a way to dig in," Sharp said. "This series is going back to Chicago to play in front of our fans and use our home ice. We have to find a way to force a Game 6." Sharp leads the Blackhawks with 10 points in nine games, but he has just one assist in Chicago's last three contests. The Blackhawks offense has gone cold and Sharp will be one of the players that has the potential to get them out of this funk.

Patrick Sharp practiced on the Blackhawks' top line on Wednesday. Sharp skated alongside Jonathan Toews and Marian Hossa. "That's up to Joel. He has a good feel for the team, mixing and matching players," Sharp said. "You've seen that in the past. I'll play wherever he puts me and I trust he knows the right combination." Toews has struggled offensively in the 2013 playoffs, so maybe this change will help spark him.

Patrick Sharp drew an assist on the lone Chicago goal Saturday and now has a six game scoring streak. Sharp has six goals and 10 points in the playoffs, good for a tie for first overall in goals with Sidney Crosby and Pascal Dupuis and a tie for fourth in points with Logan Couture, Henrik Zetterberg and three others. He has been the Blackhawks major offensive weapon thus far and is obviously worth owning in every playoff pool.

Patrick Sharp had a hand in three of the Blackhawks' goals in their 4-1 win over the Red Wings in Game 1 of their semifinal series Wednesday night. Sharp potted an empty-netter, and he had two helpers. He was excellent in this game, also leading the team with seven shots on goal. Sharp now has six goals and an assist in the playoffs. As The Sporting News' Jesse Spector notes, the Blackhawks have yet to lose this season in regulation with him in the lineup; he's played in 34 games. Marian Hossa, Johnny Oduya and Marcus Kruger scored the other goals for the Blackhawks, who were relentless on the attack all night. Niklas Hjalmarsson, Nick Leddy, Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews picked up helpers.

Patrick Sharp had five goals and six points in Chicago's five-game first-round series. "It's always nice to score, especially in a win," Sharp said. "I feel like I got better as the series went on as far as making plays with the puck and kind of raising my level away from the puck. Goals are going to come when you least expect them. They seem to be going in right now so hopefully I can ride that as long as I can." Sharp's 2013 season wasn't necessarily bad, but he didn't find the back of the net nearly as often as we've become accustomed to. It looks like he's shaken that off for the playoffs though and that's providing the Blackhawks with a big boost.

Patrick Sharp continues to fill the back of the net, leading the Blackhawks with two goals in the team's 3-0 Game 4 win. After an injury-riddled campaign, Sharp looks completely healthy through the first four games of the opening round. He's been a force in each contest, and Minnesota doesn't seem to have an answer for him. Bryan Bickell also added to his surprising playoff start with his third goal of the series.

Look for Patrick Sharp to return to the Chicago lineup Wednesday. This is according to coach Joel Quenneville who said that "(Sharp is) very likely playing in Edmonton". Sharp has five goals and 18 points in only 26 games so he should be raring to go once the playoffs start next week. He is worth drafting high in playoff pools if you think the Blackhawks are going deep into the post-season.
