P. A. Parenteau had two assists on Thursday. He helped Colorado earn a 4-3 overtime win over Phoenix by assisting on the team's first and last goals of the contest. Parenteau has one goal and three assists during his modest three-game point streak.

P. A. Parenteau recorded an assist in Colorado's 4-1 loss Saturday. Parenteau has six goals and 13 points in 19 games. That's a step down for him, but his numbers were dragged downward by a six-contest scoring drought he suffered in late October. If he stays healthy, there's still a good chance that he'll end up with around 65 points in 2013-14.

P. A. Parenteau is riding a four-game point streak. He has three goals and two assists during that span. Parenteau extended his scoring spree with a goal on five shots against Washington on Sunday. He has 12 points in 16 games this year.

P. A. Parenteau generated a goal and an assist in Colorado's 6-4 loss to Nashville on Wednesday. However, he wasn't feeling very good after the game because his turnover led to the Predators' game winner. "I know I can't do that in a 4-4 game. We made some mistakes, but we'll learn from it and play better," Parenteau said. "We kept coming back, but it was too much. We can't let Varly (Semyon Varlamov) hang out to dry like that." He has 10 points in 14 games and he should remain relatively consistent offensively by playing alongside Matt Duchene.

P. A. Parenteau has been impressed with the play of rookie linemate Nathan MacKinnon this season. "It's pretty special, and what I've been impressed with is his battle level, his compete level," said Parenteau. "He wants the puck, he wants it all the time, and I appreciate playing with a guy like that because you know you're going to get it back. It's been fun with Jamie [McGinn] too. We have a good thing going." Parenteau has generated three goals and seven points in eight games this year, but he hasn't scored since Oct. 8 and

P.A. Parenteau fired home the winning goal in the Avs' 2-1 win over Toronto to lift Colorado to 3-0. Parenteau's third goal and fourth point of the season came in the third period. Nathan MacKinnon notched his fourth assist in three games on the play that lifted the Avalanche past the previously undefeated Maple Leafs.

P.A Parenteau scored twice in Avalanche 3-1 victory over the Predators Friday night. Patrick Bordeleau scored the winning goal for the Avalanche at Pepsi Center. The Avalanche are 2-0-0 to begin season for the first time since 2009-10 and for the third time since they moved to Denver in 1995.

P. A. Parenteau practiced alongside Nathan MacKinnon and Jamie McGinn on Tuesday and that combination will remain together for Wednesday's preseason match against Anaheim. Parenteau had been projected to play with Matt Duchene and Ryan O'Reilly at the beginning of camp, but coach Patrick Roy felt a change was in order. Steve Downie was moved up to that line to help them get puck possession and Roy thinks that Parenteau can help bring along MacKinnon. However, this change is by no means permanent.

The Minnesota Wild needs a win tonight to make the playoffs but members of the Colorado Avalanche don't intend to roll over and make life easy for the Wild. ''We're a proud bunch of guys and we're not going to give (the Wild) an inch out there,'' Avs forward P.A. Parenteau said. That's what it's all about." Added Colorado teammate Matt Duchene: ''Obviously it's a big one for them. Hopefully the building will be full, and we can knock Minnesota out. That will be real nice. I'd be lying if I said it wouldn't. That's a division rival and team that's had our number for a while."

P.A. Parenteau scored Colorado's lone goal, his 17th of the season, in the Avs 4-1 loss to the Oilers on Friday night. Parenteau's production has been plentiful and fairly consistent as he's settled on the first line of a weak Avalanche roster. He has 41 points in 44 games.
