Michael Frolik returned to the Jets over the weekend, but he didn't want to talk about the strange soap opera situation that surrounded the Czech Republic at the Winter Olympics.
"I know a lot of things happened and have been said in the media about our team, but I don't really want to go into it," he said. "It's not up to us who is going to be coaching next. We'll see what happens. The coach was fine. It's always about the one game in the quarterfinal and we got beat out. It's always bad when you lose that game." The Czechs made some questionable leading into and during the tournament. Frolik didn't have a point in five games in Sochi and be averaged 10:46 of ice time per match.

Michael Frolik is enjoying himself as he is seeing second line time alongside Mark Scheifele and Evander Kane.
Frolik has 21 points in 36 games this season and has five points including two goals in his last five. Coach Claude Noel has been impressed with his game as well. "Frolik is a guy that is defensive, but he makes plays, he's a smart player and makes some things happen," said Noel. "He just quietly goes about (his business). He's been consistent pretty much all year. He doesn't get a lot of accolades, but he's done a pretty good job." He is worth looking at in very deep leagues.
