Frolik scored a goal in 10:48 worth of ice time in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Wild. Frolik's goal started a rally that saw the Jets pot three in less than five minutes to send the game to overtime, but they were unable to grab the extra point. It was just his third of the season, but his second in the last three games. Frolik's now at six points for the season, so he probably won't be able to top last year's 42 point campaign.

Frolik scored the lone goal in Sunday's shutout win over Chicago. It was the first goal of the season for Frolik, who has put up four points in 12 games. Despite the disappointing numbers, Frolik has recorded three points in his last five games, and is now playing on the top line with Bryan Little and Andrew Ladd. If he sticks in Winnipeg's top-six, the speedster could record another 40-point season.

Frolik fired seven shots but didn't come away with any points in Friday's loss to the Bolts. While it was nice to see Frolik get a few good cracks at the net Friday, it was more troubling that he posted a minus-2 rating and saw only 13:54 of action in a game that went to overtime. Through seven games, the winger is averaging 15:57 of ice time, about 45 seconds fewer than what he saw last season with the Jets. It's difficult to argue with coach Paul Maurice's decision to trim Frolik's time, as he's still in search of his first goal and has only one point on the season.

Michael Frolik plans to restart contract negotiations with the Winnipeg Jets in January. The two sides agreed to a one-year, $3.3 million contract for the 2014-15 to avoid an arbitration hearing. However, Frolik is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. Despite the assurances that the two sides will try to make something work during the season, it's not a great sign that they couldn't agree to a longer-term deal this summer.

Michael Frolik has agreed to a one-year, $3.3 million contract with the Winnipeg Jets. Frolik and the Jets have managed to avoid an arbitration hearing that was scheduled for Thursday. However, the face that the Jets weren't able to lock him up to a long-term contract is a little troubling for them as he's scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent next summer. He had 15 goals and 42 points in 81 games last season.

Michael Frolik's arbitration hearing has been scheduled for July 31. Frolik and the Jets can of course still avoid the hearing by agreeing to terms before then. The Jets are the ones that filed for arbitration, but they are reportedly interested in locking him up to a long-term deal.

The Winnipeg Jets decided to file for salary arbitration with winger Michael Frolik. The Winnipeg Sun's Ken Wiebe reports that it shouldn't be a big concern, as the two sides are allegedly discussing a long-term deal. Frolik scored 15 goals and 42 points in his first season with the Jets, takikng on an elevated role after being a nice depth player for Chicago.

Michael Frolik will play between Devin Setoguchi and Matt Halischuk in Thursday's meeting against Los Angeles. Coach Paul Maurice is moving around some pieces with Mark Scheifele sidelined. "It's a little bit different, but I've played it in the past," said Frolik. "Hopefully, it's going to go quick. I know the mental preparations is going to be a bit different, but I'll just play the game, have fun, don't think too much and hopefully it's going to work out." He had been playing on the top line with Bryan Little and Andrew Ladd, but his versatility prompted the move.
