Frolik was absent from Monday's practice due to an illness, but he's expected to play Tuesday against the Panthers, Derek Wills of Sportsnet 960 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Frolik has hit a bit of a hot streak recently collecting at least a point in each of the last four contests, with the streak starting on a hat trick against the Oilers. However, those three goals represent his only goals of the campaign, but he has collected eight assists to give him 11 points through 15 games. If he's unable to go Tuesday, Brandon Bollig would be the likely candidate to draw into the lineup in his place.

Frolik scored a hat trick and fired a game-high seven shots on goal in Saturday's win over the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
Frolik has fit in well with Calgary, notching three goals and eight points in 12 games. Skating in a top-six role, the 27-year-old has recorded 33 shots on goal and managed to produce despite minimal power-play time. Coming off a 19-goal season with Winnipeg, Frolik is a streaky scorer who shoots a ton and can explode at any given moment.

Frolik used crisp passing to set up two goals, his first two points with Calgary, in Tuesday's loss to St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
Frolik, the Flames' big free-agent signing this offseason, flashed his playmaking ability multiple times Tuesday. He made a nice pass to Dennis Wideman, who found Mason Raymond streaking to the net for the Flames' first goal of the game. Frolik was able to force Blues captain David Backes into a turnover and then fed David Jones for an easy score to make it 4-3 in the third period. It was the type of performance expected of Frolik after signing his big contract. He should have plenty of motivation when he faces his former team, the Jets, on Friday.

Frolik signed a five-year, $21.5 million contract with the Flames on Wednesday, Bob McKenzie of TSN reports. The Flames' top line of Johnny Gaudreau, Sean Monahan, and Jiri Hudler was as good as any in the league, but the team's lack of secondary scoring prompted them to go out and lure Frolik away from Winnipeg. Frolik, who has produced back-to-back 42-point campaigns for the Jets, figures to slot in at one of the wing spots on the second line for Calgary alongside up-and-coming center Mikael Backlund.

Frolik tallied the game-winning goal in Saturday's season finale against the Flames. Frolik attained some buzz in fantasy circles in March after building an eight-game point streak, but that momentum died soon thereafter, as he compiled only three goals and two assists over his final 14 games. He'll likely occupy a top-six role in the Jets' lineup during the postseason, though he doesn't profile as much more than a complementary scorer.

Frolik extended his point streak to seven games with a goal in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Blues. Initially deployed on the top line as an injury replacement for Blake Wheeler, Frolik has been able to hold down the gig even after Wheeler returned a few games ago. During his run, he's potted five goals and dished out two assists, becoming a trendy waiver wire pickup in the process. Those is mid-sized leagues or deeper should go out and get Frolik if he's still available.

Frolik scored his team's lone goal in Wednesday's 3-1 loss to the Senators. Frolik now has points in each of his last five games, and 14 goals and 20 assists on the season to go along with a plus-5 rating. Frolik has proven to be a viable fantasy option since being traded to the Jets before last season, and is now only 11 points away from his career high of 45.

Frolik bagged an empty-net goal and attempted a team-leading five shots in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Stars. Making his debut on the top line with Blake Wheeler (lower body) unavailable, Frolik didn't look to be at all out of place. With Wheeler already ruled out for Thursday's game against the Blues, look for Frolik to remain in the role for at least another game. He could deliver fine value in daily formats while his price remains depressed.

With Blake Wheeler (undisclosed) absent, Frolik skated on the first line at Tuesday's morning skate, according to Ed Tait of the Winnipeg Free Press If Wheeler doesn't suit up, Frolik is poised to join the first line alongside Andrew Ladd and Bryan Little. Wheeler, Ladd and Little have all played in every game this season, each scoring between 44 and 49 points. Frolik has also played all 61 games, with 30 points (12 goals) to show for it.

Frolik scored his first goal since Jan. 18 -- and his first point since Jan. 29 -- on Thursday, with his power-play tally accounting for the lone Winnipeg goal in a 3-1 loss to the Predators. That was six straight without a point and nine straight without a goal for the Czech winger before he became the lone Jet to break through on Pekka Rinne in this one. He remains a lower-end fantasy asset who's best reserved for deep leagues.
