Matt Read skated on a line with Claude Giroux and Scott Hartnell during Wednesday's practice. "Every time we asked him to do something or needed a void filled, he has been able to jump in and contribute," Flyers coach Peter Laviolette said. "So we were looking at it in practice today. I liked it and we'll see." This should give Read a short term boost, but he'll probably fall in the depth charts when Jaromir Jagr (groin) returns in about a week or so.
