Duchene netted two goals in Saturday's win over Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
That's five goals and seven points in the last four games for the red-hot Duchene, who is currently centering the top line. The speedy forward has built off his career-high 30 goals in 2015-16 and been a dynamic threat in the early goings this season. Duchene plays on the power play, has a lethal shot and is approaching arguably the prime of his career, so make sure you keep him rolling.

Duchene scored a goal and added a power-play assist in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
After going three games without a point, Duchene has exploded for five points, including three goals, in his last two outings. Use him well.

Duchene erupted for two goals on three shots, an assist and a plus-3 rating during Thursday's 4-0 win against Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Finally, Duchene reached the box score. The 25-year-old went pointless over the first three contests, causing owners to break a sweat. The 2009 No. 3 pick has been rock solid for the Avalanche for seven seasons in a row and it was only a matter of time before he kicked the slump. In case you had doubts, the center can be trusted moving forward.

Duchene failed to register a point for the second consecutive game Monday against the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
Duchene even failed to record a shot on net Monday, and it's slightly concerning because Colorado has scored 10 goals through its first two games. It's hardly a time to panic, though. The 26-year-old pivot is coming off a 30-goal showing last year, and he has 184 points through 229 games over the past three years. Duchene could quickly become an excellent buy-low candidate if the scoring struggles linger for a few more games.

Duchene potted two goals on five shots in Canada's 4-2 win over Team USA at the World Cup of Hockey on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Duchene beat Western Conference rival Jonathan Quick twice in this one despite playing only 11:05. He won't be surrounded by nearly as much talent when he returns to the Avalanche for the upcoming NHL season.

Duchene (undisclosed) resumed practicing with Team Canada on Friday and should be ready to go for Saturday's contest with Team Czech Republic, Arpon Basu of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duchene's status for Saturday's game was never really in doubt, but fantasy owners will be glad to hear that he is ready to suit up. The center averaged 18:35 in ice time per game last season and is likely to continue eatings up minutes on the Avs top line. Given his durability and productivity, the 25-year-old will get snatched up early in most league formats.

Duchene picked up a minor undisclosed injury, according to Team Canada coach Mike Babcock, but will be available for Saturday's matchup with Team Czech Republic, Chris Johnston of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duchene is poised to put together a fourth consecutive 50-point or better season, with this ailment unlikely to derail him. The 25-year-old's fantasy value is further increased by his contributions on the power play, where he notched 15 points last season while averaging 2:48 in ice time with the man advantage. Barring any setbacks, the center will likely shake off whatever is ailing him for the World Cup and be set to go for the 2016-17 campaign.

Duchene notched a pair of helpers in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
Duchene picked up right where he left off before his knee injury, reaching the scoresheet in two straight to the tune of a goal and two assists. Unfortunately for Colorado, the efforts have come too little too late, as they're now officially eliminated from playoff contention. The 25-year-old still has 11 points in his last 10 outings and should finish out the season strong with health no longer in question.

Duchene (knee) will return to the lineup Friday against the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Patrick Roy indicated that the star forward will slot in on the top line alongside Mikkel Boedker and Mikhail Grigorenko in his return to the lineup. Duchene will look to add to his team-leading 56 points on the campaign but will face a tough matchup to do so against a Capitals club allowing just 2.30 goals per game this season.

Per coach Patrick Roy, Duchene (knee) has a good chance to play Friday against the Caps.
EDGE Analysis
Roy also relayed Thursday that if Duchene -- who leads the Avs with 56 points in 71 games to date -- does return to action Friday, he'll work on a line Mikhail Grigorenko and Mikkel Boedker.
