Head Coach Patrick Roy stated that Duchene will be reevaluated on Sunday before the Avs hit the road for a back-to-back against the Predators and Blues on Monday and Tuesday.

Considering that he's listed as day-to-day, it's plausible his return could come as soon as the team's next game Thursday against the Flyers, but the Avalanche should update his status again before the game.

Duchene will miss Friday's game against the Flames with a knee injury and is considered day-to-day with the issue.

The Avs failed to elaborate on the extent of Duchene's injury, but the day-to-day suggests hopefully won't cost him too much time. Duchene's next chance to play comes Saturday against the Oilers, but expect another update before the contest.
