Coach Paul Maurice said that Perreault (lower body) would be a game-time decision for Thursday's Game 1 matchup with the Ducks, Sara Orlesky of TSN reports. Perreault skated on his own after Wednesday's practice concluded, which doesn't seem encouraging for his availability Thursday. However, if he's able to get back on the ice with the full team Thursday morning, Maurice could upgrade the forward's status heading into the evening. Perreault rebounded from a rough start to his first season with the Jets to finish with outputs of 18 goals and 23 assists, numbers very similar to what he supplied in 2013-14 with the Ducks.

Perreault (lower body) sat out Wednesday's practice, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports. The Jets haven't made a ruling on Perreault's status for Thursday's postseason opener against the Ducks one way or the other, but his absence from practice on the eve of Game 1 doesn't bode well. Matt Halischuk has been skating on the Jets' third line in place of Perreault.

Perreault (lower body) did not work with the Jets' main group at Tuesday's practice, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports. More on Perreault's status as Thursday's Game 1 against the Ducks approaches, but at this stage, he appears to slot into the day-to-day category.

Perreault (lower body) will skate this week and has a good chance to play in Game 1 depending on how he responds to practices, Sara Orlesky of TSN reports. Perreault missed Saturday's game with what can likely be deemed a minor lower-body injury, but his status heading into Thursday's contest remains unclear at this point. However, his status should clear up as the week moves on.

Perreault (lower body) will not play in Saturday's regular-season finale against the Flames. Jets coach Paul Maurice said he doesn't believe the injury is "catastrophic", indicating that Perreault may stand some chance to be ready for the beginning of the playoffs. The winger suffered his injury early in Thursday's game against the Avalanche, and he was not able to return to the contest.

Perreault suffered a lower-body injury early in Thursday's game against the Avalanche and will not return, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports. Perreault finished the night with just 7:18 of ice time and one shot on goal, taking eight shifts. It could be a big blow to the Jets and their playoff run if the issue turns out to be anything serious, but an update on his status should be provided at some point before the regular season comes to a close Saturday.

Perreault dished out three assists in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Canucks. What a performance by Perreault, who looked sharp in his third game back from a lower-body injury that kept him out for over a month. He's an underrated piece of the Jets attack and could provide a last-minute burst of offense for those battling for a title with a week left in the regular season.

Perreault (lower body) will be available for Sunday's game against the Blackhawks, Ed Tait of the Winnipeg Free Press reports. Perreault has not played in more than a month after suffering a lower body injury back in mid-February. After resuming skating Thursday, he's recovered to the point that coach Paul Maurice feels comfortable deploying him Sunday. At this point, it's unclear if Perreault will be limited by the injury or if he'll have his ice time capped at a certain total.

Perreault (lower body) is hoping to return to the Jets' lineup Sunday against the Blackhawks, Paul Friesen of the Winnipeg Sun reports. It appeared the Jets might have lost Perreault for the season after he suffered the lower-body injury Feb. 16, but he was able to resume skating Thursday morning, signaling that he's closing in on a return. Coach Paul Maurice was less optimistic that Perreault would be back by Sunday, instead targeting the April 4 game versus the Canucks as a more realistic date for the forward's reentry into the lineup. No matter when Perreault draws back in, his arrival will be a welcome development for the Jets as they jockey for playoff positioning down the stretch.

Coach Paul Maurice said Wednesday that Perreault has been ruled out indefinitely with a lower-body injury, with the Jets fearing he could be lost for the season, Paul Friesen of the Winnipeg Sun reports. The Jets have moved Perreault to injured reserve, according to Sara Orlesky of TSN.Perreault's long-term absence will create a major hole on the Jets' second line, as the winger had rebounded from a woeful start to the season to deliver 30 points (16 goals, 14 assists) over his last 32 games. Carl Klingberg was recalled from AHL St. John's to take Perreault's roster spot, but it's more likely that Dustin Byfuglien will shuffle back from defense to forward to claim Perreault's second-line gig. The Jets will see how Perreault progresses over the next few weeks before offering a firmer timetable for his return, but those in season-long leagues are probably best served cutting bait with him in favor of a healthier option.
