Perreault factored into both Jets goals Monday, dishing out two assists in a 4-2 loss to the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
That's two straight two-assist outings for Perreault, who has looked great on a line with Mark Scheifele and rookie Nikolaj Ehlers. He also saw 2:59 on the mad advantage in this one, third only to Dustin Byfuglien and Blake Wheeler.

Perreault delivered two assists in Friday's 3-1 win over the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
Perreault should get plenty of opportunities to produce offensively while skating on the second line opposite Nikolaj Ehlers and with high-flying talent Mark Scheifele at center. While there is no denying that Perreault can make things happen with the puck, he's had trouble staying healthy in his NHL career. Since entering the league in 2009-10, he hasn't appeared in 70 or more contests in a single season, making him a high risk and high reward type, particularly in seasonal leagues.

Perreault returned to practice Monday, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Perreault exited Saturday's exhibition in the third period with an apparent leg injury, but was able to return to practice Monday, meaning he should be ready to go for Thursday's regular-season opener against the Bruins barring any setbacks. The 27-year-old will return to a top-six role with the Jets this season.

Perreault played with a high ankle sprain and ripped ligaments in his hand in the Jets' playoff series against the Ducks, 680 CJOB Sports reports. It's certainly admirable Perreault was able to suit up while so banged up, especially considering he was able to register two assists in the three games he was able to play in in the series. He should be ready for the beginning of next season.

Perreault will start Saturday for the Jets. Perreault suffered a lower body injury and missed Game 1 of their playoff series. He was able to warm up Saturday, but it is still unknown if he will get his full playing time or if the injury will affect his play. The start, however, is a good sign for his health moving forward.

Perreault (lower body) is on the ice for pre-game warmups, Tim Campbell of The Winnipeg Free Press reports. Although going through warmups is an encouraging sign that he could play, there is still no guarantee that Perreault will be able to play Saturday. A further update on his status will be available closer to puck drop.

Perreault (lower body) skated Saturday morning and is considered a game-time decision for Game 2 against the Ducks, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports. Perreault is still recovering from a lower body injury he sustained on Apr. 9. Although he's reportedly close to returning to the Jets' lineup, he may have to wait until Game 3 on Monday to do so, as he remains a true game-time decision for Saturday's Game 2. The Jets will provide an update on his status prior to puck drop on Saturday.

Perreault took part in the Jets' optional morning skate on Friday, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports. While it isn't confirmation that Perreault will be able to suit up for Game 2 of Winnipeg's playoff series against the Ducks, the fact that he was able to return to the ice on Friday is certainly a promising development. However, he'll likely remain a game-time decision for Saturday's game. The Jets' will confirm his status prior to puck drop on Saturday.

Perreault was not on the ice for pregame warmups, indicating he will sit for Game 1 against the Ducks, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports. Perreault was considered a true game-time decision for the contest, but it appears he will need to skip it. Matt Halischuk will draw into the lineup in his place. Perreault's next chance to return comes Saturday against the Jets.

Coach Paul Maurice reiterated after Thursday's morning skate that Perreault (lower body) remains a game-time decision for the Jets' Game 1 matchup later in the evening with the Ducks. Perreault didn't participate in line rushes with the Jets during the morning skate and didn't take the ice until after all the regulars had departed, so his chances of playing Wednesday wouldn't seem promising. Nevertheless, the Jets' medical staff will wait and see how Perreault progresses over the afternoon before making a call on his status. Matt Halischuk will enter the lineup if Perreault can't go.
