Perreault will not suit up Friday night's clash in Detroit, Ted Wyman of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's not immediately clear when Perreault suffered the injury but speculation says that it occurred during Thursday's overtime loss to Washington. Perreault started the season hot with a goal and an assist in his first two games but has cooled off significantly since then, notching only one assist in the next nine games.

Perreault tipped home a goal in Thursday's comeback victory over the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
With the seconds ticking down and the goalie on the bench, Perreault was able to find enough space in front of the goal to send the game into overtime. The center will continue to see plenty of scoring opportunities with Bryan Little (lower body) sidelined indefinitely. The 28-year-old Perreault should move up to the Jets' second line in addition to contributing on the power play. If the Quebec native is sitting on your league's waiver wire, you may want to consider picking him up for the duration of Little's absence.

Perreault (concussion) has been cleared to return against the Senators on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Perreault's return comes as somewhat of a surprise considering he missed the final 10 games of the 2015-16 season with a concussion, but evidently is suffering no ill effects from the hit that took him out of Thursday's contest. The center recorded his third consecutive 40+ point season last year despite failing to appear in all 82 games in any of those campaigns. If he can stay healthy, the 28-year-old could approach the 50-point mark and when combined with his role on the power play where he averaged 2:53 in ice time per night, gives him solid fantasy value.

Perreault (concussion) was levelled by a blindside hit from Minnesota forward Kurtis Gabriel on Thursday night and had to be helped off the ice. He did not return, but is "progressing fine.".
EDGE Analysis
Perreault was coming off a concussion from last season and suited up for the first time Thursday. He tallied a goal and an assist before the hit; hopefully the hit won't be a big setback in his recovery. Perreault may be a better waiver pick than a draft selection, just because of the risk.

Perreault (concussion) is listed on the game-day roster for Thursday's preseason matchup with Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Perreault missed the final 10 games of the 2015-16 season with a concussion, but is ostensibly no longer feeling the effects of that injury, and will now have plenty of time to work himself back into playing shape ahead of the Jets' Oct. 13 regular-season opener against Carolina. The 28-year-old center signed a four-year, $16.5 million contract extension with Winnipeg this offseason, and will hope to award the Jets for their loyalty by improving upon his 41 point total (nine goals, 32 assists) from a season ago in 2016-17.

Perreault (concussion) finalized a four-year contract extension with the Jets on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Perreault's new deal comes with an average annual value of $4.125 million. Although he ended the season dealing with concussion symptoms, the center still had a solidly productive year as he tallied nine goals and 32 helpers. The 28-year-old's value is further increased as a member of Winnipeg's power-play unit where he averaged 2:53 in ice time and racked up 15 points with the man advantage.

Perreault (concussion) missed the final 10 games of the season, finishing 2015-16 with nine goals, 41 points, and a minus-11 rating in 71 games.
EDGE Analysis
Perreault matched the point total he reached in his first year as a Jet, though his goal total was halved and it took him nine more games to do so. The 28-year-old didn't have an awful season, but his output was likely affected the Winnipeg's struggles as a team.

Perreault is out indefinitely with a concussion.
EDGE Analysis
Per the Winnipeg Sun, Perreault slammed the back of his head into the boards after taking a spill during Sunday's loss to the Ducks and while coach Paul Maurice suggested afterward that the forward was fine, Perreault will miss some time. Overall, the 28-year-old -- who recorded an assist Sunday -- has notched nine goals and 41 points in 71 games to date.

Perreault grabbed an assist in Sunday's loss to the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Perreault helped setup the game-tying tally in the second period, but he and his mates were unable to find twine for the remainder of the contest. His scoring remains down from previous seasons and he hasn't lit the lamp since Feb. 18, but Perreault has continued to contribute with the helpers, as he's already set a career-best mark in that department with 32 assists.

Perreault dished out a pair of assists in Monday's win over the Canucks.
EDGE Analysis
Perreault also finished the contest with a plus-3 rating, matching his highest mark of the season in that department. The 28-year-old has worked his way onto the scoresheet in three straight and sits just a trio of points away from his career-best 43 point output, so he's worth a look if he's sitting on the waiver wire.
