Schenn potted his first goal in nearly two months in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to Dallas. The goal marks just his third of the year. Schenn hasn't been productive in any fantasy categories this year, and with the Flyers' season all but over, he doesn't figure to have a major impact going forward.

Schenn picked up a pair of assists and went plus-2 in a 3-1 win over the Blues on Thursday. Sure, one was on an empty-netter, but hey, you won't find Schenn complaining after he notched multiple points in a game for the first time all season. Schenn's now got as many points (12) as he collected last year, so he's on a bit of a better pace, but his fantasy value is still largely restricted to deep leagues that count hits.

Schenn was all over the ice for the Flyers in Tuesday's win over the Penguins, nabbing a goal and dishing out five hits in his 22:13 of ice time. He would also get in a fight with the Pens' Steve Downie, resulting in a trip to the locker room for the latter. Schenn's toughness on the Flyers' back end isn't anything new, but his improved scoring output of late is a more startling development. He's registered a point in three consecutive games, after tallying just one goal and three assists over his first 35 games.

Schenn collected a helper and finished plus-3 in Tuesday's win over Minnesota. Schenn broke a 14-game scoring drought with the assist. The defenseman has never been a prolific scorer, but he's on pace for his worst season points-wise. His current minus-7 rating doesn't help his case either. If you have other defensive options, employ them.

Schenn will return to the lineup Thursday against the Devils, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Schenn had been a healthy scratch for the Flyers in each of the last two games, but he'll draw back in to replace Michael Del Zotto. With a team-worst minus-12 rating over 20 games, Schenn will need to step up his game in order to avoid a more permanent stay in the press box.

Schenn is expected to be a healthy scratch for Wednesday's game against the Red Wings, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. With Michael Del Zotto, Andrew MacDonald and now Braydon Coburn simultaneously healthy, it looks like Schenn will be squeezed out of the lineup as a result. The deployment to the press box might not become routine for Schenn, but of the team's eight blueliners, it looks like Schenn, Nick Schultz and Carlo Colaiacovo will be competing for one lineup spot every game.

Schenn (upper body) will return to the lineup Thursday against the Wild, John Boruk of CSNPhilly.com reports. The Flyers will lose one defenseman to injury (Michael Del Zotto), but will be getting two back with Schenn and Andrew MacDonald returning from multi-game absences. The duo are expected to form a pairing together, with Schenn assuming more of the stay-at-home role of the two.
