Schenn potted his first goal of the season in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
In the spirit of brotherly love, Schenn was assisted by his brother Brayden Schenn on the goal. He also racked up three hits in just over 17 minutes of ice time. With four points on the season, he's off to a blazing start compared to his historical numbers. It's a surprising start given the very low expectations for him entering this season. Nonetheless, his 25% shooting percentage is likely to drop to realistic levels, along with his fantasy value.

Schenn skated only 12:13 in Tuesday's overtime loss to Buffalo, but tallied two assists.
EDGE Analysis
Unfortunately, some ugly turnovers kept Schenn's ice time quite limited and both helpers were of the secondary variety. However, he certainly deserves credit for the sharp pass that sprang Scott Laughton for what turned out be his brother Brayden's game-tying tally midway through the third period. Nonetheless, Schenn has quite limited offensive upside and has spent a lot of time in the press box early on this year.

Schenn will be scratched for Wednesday's game against the Blackhawks, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
That's now two scratches in a row for the extra D-man. After posting 14 points in 58 games last season, Schenn has found himself passed over for Radko Gudas.

Schenn will be scratched for Monday's game against the Panthers in favor of Radko Gudas, according to Flyers head coach Dave Hakstol, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Schenn is a depth option on the Flyers' blue line. He'll need to get consistent playing time before drawing interest in most fantasy league formats.

Schenn will be in the Flyers' lineup when they open the season Thursday, according to Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
EDGE Analysis
Schenn was expected to be a healthy scratch, but will be in the lineup while Radko Gudas sits. Schenn will likely be paired with Evgeny Medvedev, who garnered praise throughout the preseason.

Schenn will be a healthy scratch from Thursday's opener, reports Tim Panaccio of CSN Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
Schenn figures to be the Flyers' seventh defenseman, and he'll miss quite a few games as a result. Barring any injuries, he doesn't have any current fantasy value.

Schenn is slated to undergo abdominal surgery Thursday, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. The Flyers had already announced over the weekend that Schenn would miss the remainder of the season, so the disclosure of surgery doesn't do much to help fantasy owners at this point. The 25-year-old defenseman will finish his seventh NHL season with 14 points (three goals) over 58 games.

Schenn (lower body) is unlikely to play again this season. With the Flyers out of playoff contention, there's no reason to rush Schenn back, so his campaign looks done, with the 25-year-old blueliner having recorded 14 points and 18 PIM in 58 games for the team.

Schenn (lower body) will not play Wednesday against the Blackhawks, NHL.com's Adam Kimelman reports. Schenn has yet to resume skating since suffering the lower-body injury in Thursday's game against the Flames. With the blueliner missing his second straight contest, Carlo Colaiacovo will maintain a spot on the Flyers' third defensive pairing.

Schenn will miss Saturday's game against the Oilers due to a lower-body injury. The Flyers' defensive ranks had become a bit crowded with the return of Michael Del Zotto earlier in the week, resulting in the team skating seven defensemen in Thursday's game against the Flames. Schenn's absence will make the lineup decisions a little easier for coach Craig Berube, but the absence of one of the team's most active hitters will be missed. Along with his 194 hits, Schenn has compiled three goals and 14 points while averaging just over 18 minutes of ice time in 58 games.
