While Richards has struggled in his first season with the New York Rangers, Eriksson has scored 23 goals and 61 points in 67 games. That puts Eriksson on pace to reach the 70-point milestone for the third straight campaign.

Loui Eriksson scored a goal and added an assist to lead Dallas to a 3-2 shootout win over Calgary Sunday evening. It was the talented winger's 22nd goal of the season. Eriksson also scored the shootout winner as he beat Miikka Kiprusoff to secure the win. Michael Ryder notched his 28th goal of 2011-12, while Steve Ott, Mike Ribeiro and goaltender Kari Lehtonen registered assists in the victory.

Scoring goals for Dallas were Jamie Benn (18), Sheldon Souray (six) and Michael Ryder (26).

Eriksson had the game's first goal, the game-tying, power-play goal to force overtime at 14:35 of the third and the only "goal" in the shootout. The winger has 16 goals and 40 points on the year, and has been on fire lately with 10 points in his last six games. Eric Nystrom had a goal, while Alex Goligoski had a goal and an assist. Brenden Morow had two assists and seven of the team's 23 penalty minutes and Michael Ryder chipped in with two helpers.

Loui Eriksson had his 14th goal and 19th assist in Tuesday's contest. After enduring a bit of a slump in late November and early December, Eriksson has bounced back with four goals and 11 points in his last nine games. Eriksson should surpass the 70-point mark for the third straight season.
