Loui Eriksson's scoring slump has intensified. The talented winger has scored only one goal in the Stars' last 12 games after notching 10 before U.S. Thanksgiving. Eriksson was on pace to shatter his season-high in goals and shots on goal three weeks ago, but now has fallen considerably behind that pace. We expect Eriksson to rebound shortly, but his inconsistent play has been a cause for concern.

Loui Eriksson netted his 10th goal of the season before Thanksgiving. With Brad Richards gone, Eriksson has been firing a lot more shots on goal this season. Eriksson is on pace to record 242 shots, which would shatter his previous career-high of 214 set in 2009-10. Eriksson has fallen just short of the 30-goal mark in each of his previous two seasons, but we wouldn't be surprised if he ends up with 30-40 goals in 2011-12.

Dallas Stars' forward Loui Eriksson notched an assist in a 4-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers Monday night. Consistent offensive production from Loui Eriksson has without a doubt been one of the major keys to the Stars' strong start. With his 10th assist Loui is begging to cement himself as an elite offensive threat in the NHL. Look for the Swede to continue producing offensively as the Stars stay hot.

Loui Eriksson has four goals and seven points in his last five games against Friday's opponents, the Colorado Avalanche. Eriksson is also plus-five against the Avs in the five games so in addition to his nine goals and 17 points in 17 games which is good for 26th in he NHL this season, he is certainly a great play against Colorado. He is also plus-nine for the Stars this season.

Loui Eriksson scored a power play goal in a 5-2 loss to the Detroit Red Wings Saturday night. Loui has kept his goal scoring totals up despite the departure of Brad Richards. Look for Loui Eriksson to continue his strong play even if the Dallas Stars impressive record begins deteriorate. The goal was assisted by Jamie Benn who already has amassed 14 assists on the season.

Loui Eriksson notched three assists while Jamie Benn scored two goals in the Dallas Stars' dominant 5-2 win against the Carolina Hurricanes. Both forwards improved their 2011-12 season totals to 15 points, emphasizing that they rank among the NHL's unheralded stars. Eriksson brings a great mix of defensive skills and scoring savvy to the table while Benn uses his size and finishing touch to become an irresistible force on offense. Eriksson set up Benn for a shorthanded goal, so if your league has that rare stat, then they were even more valuable than usual.

With Steve Ott (hip) questionable for Friday's game against Colorado, the Dallas Stars have moved Loui Eriksson from the right wing to the left wing and into Ott's place on Jamie Benn's line. The Stars also dropped Michael Ryder into Eriksson's spot and put Adam Burish into Ryder's right wing spot.

Loui Eriksson scored with only 28 seconds left in regulation time to tie Monday's game with the Coyotes. Dallas went on to win the the game in a shootout goal by Mike Ribeiro. Sheldon Souray and Steve Ott registered assists in Eriksson's marker. The Stars now have a 2-1 record for the season.

Loui Eriksson returned to action on Friday October 7.

Loui Eriksson is fine after suffering a minor thigh injury on Thursday. Eriksson sustained the injury when he was pushed into the boards in the third period of the Stars' preseason contest. However, Eriksson was back on the ice Friday and coach Glen Gulutzan said Eriksson is 99% healthy. We'll err heavily on the side of caution by listing him as day-to-day, but we would be very surprised if this incident slows him down.
