Glen Gulutzan has signed a two-year contract with Dallas to serve as the Stars' head coach. Gulutzan beat out some candidates with far more coaching experience. Gulutzan has never coached an NHL team, but he's earned the opportunity after years of success in the minors. He enjoyed three straight 100-point seasons with the ECHL Las Vegas Wranglers before posting a 87-56-17 record with the AHL Texas Stars.
