Loui Eriksson is ready to return to the Boston Bruins' lineup on Tuesday against the Dallas Stars. Eriksson got the green light after taking a concussion test on Monday. That sets up a match up between Eriksson and Tyler Seguin after they were the key players in a blockbuster trade between Boston and Dallas over the summer.

Loui Eriksson might be ready to return from his concussion on Tuesday night when the Bruins host Dallas. He participated in Monday's practice alongside Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand and Jordan Caron and took contact in the session. "I'm feeling better," said Eriksson. "I've been skating for a couple of days now and the head is getting better. I'm feeling pretty good right now. We'll see about tomorrow. I still have some testing to do." The Bruins also returned Ryan Spooner to the AHL on Monday, which is a positive sign from Eriksson's potential return as well.

Loui Eriksson took a major step Saturday in his recovery from a concussion. Although Eriksson missed his fifth game Saturday night, he skated with his teammates in the morning skate. He has not been cleared for contact yet but if he does get the green light in that regard on Sunday and barring any set back, there is a chance he could return to game action Tuesday against this former club, the Stars. Of course, with concussions you never know. Check back with us Monday as to Eriksson's status.

Loui Eriksson isn't projected to play or skate this week as he continues to recover from a concussion. He was able to visit his teammates at Ristuccia Arena on Monday, but that was the extent of his involvement. Eriksson has missed two games already and he'll sit out three more this week. There's no timetable for his return.

Coach Claude Julien provided somewhat of an update on Loui Eriksson, who suffered a concussion on Wednesday. "Loui is doing okay, I guess, for a guy that suffered a concussion," said Julien Saturday morning. "It's the same thing, you have a good day and you have less of a good day. It's early on, but like always you keep your fingers crossed that it's going to get better sooner rather than later for his sake." He'll have to wait for his symptoms to subside before he can start working his way back into the lineup.

Loui Eriksson was injured Wednesday night when he received a check to his head from Buffalo enforcer John Scott. Eriksson was the victim of a blindside hit where the shoulder of Scott hit in the head. Bruins coach Claude Julien was fuming over the play after the game. "The guy who did it, did his job," said Julien of Scott. "He's out there for two reasons: Either to fight, or to hurt. He did his job." GM Peter Chiarelli said Eriksson would stay overnight in Buffalo for precautionary reasons and return to Boston on Thursday. We'll keep you posted when an update on his status is made.

Loui Eriksson has three points in his last four games. Eriksson had some trouble adjusting the the Bruins' system and was pointless in the team's first three contests as a result. Overall he should have a great campaign and record 60-70 points in his first season with Boston.
