Kyle Quincey is having a strong bounce back season and is now one of Colorado's leaders. It is not only the 16 points he has registered in 29 games (as opposed to one point in 21 games in an injury-plagued 2010-11 campaign) it is Quincey's attitude and ability to play in all situations that has been most impressive. If he is still on the waiver wire in your pool, don't hesitate to pick him up.

Kyle Quincey sent the Avalanche home happy with the game-winning, power-play overtime tally against the Islanders on Thursday night. The Avs were down 3-1 entering the third period and scored three straight goals to win. Quincey was one of three Avs' players to record two-point nights, as he also assisted on Paul Stastny's power-play marker in the second. After his 2010-11 campaign was cut short by shoulder surgery, Quincey is proving to be a very reliable option on defense. He has 11 points in 16 games. Stastny also had an assist, while veteran Milan Hejduk chipped in with a goal and an assist of his own in the win.

Kyle Quincey has two goals and nine points in his last nine games. The Avs were counting on Erik Johnson being their top point getter from the blueline but Quincey has come out of seemingly nowhere to take over the offensive lead. He was pointless in his first four games but certainly has made up for loss time since. He is worth selecting in most pools at this time.

Kyle Quincey is finally returning to his 2008-09 form. After registering 38 points with Los Angeles in 2008-09, Quincey has been much less effective in Colorado largely due to injuries. He has registered only 30 points in 104 games with the Avs. However after season-ending shoulder surgery in 2010-11, Quincey is finally healthy. Keep an eye on him as he gets plenty of power-play ice time and could be a nice depth fantasy defenceman.
