Fiala scored a goal and added a power-play assist during Monday's 5-3 win over Winnipeg.
EDGE Analysis
This was the third multi-point showing through the past four contests for Fiala, and he now has a respectable two goals and 13 points through 19 games for the season. The 21-year-old winger is a gifted offensive player slotted into a top-six role, so his fantasy arrow is pointing straight up. With additional statistical correction likely ahead of his unsustainably low 6.7 shooting percentage, Fiala could prove to be a solid asset in the majority of settings sooner than later.

Fiala picked up a pair of assists in Saturday's win over the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
The second-line winger has been very consistent of late and is now up to 11 points in 18 games on the season. Fiala hasn't gone longer than three games without appearing on the scoresheet and is building off the 16 points he managed in his first full NHL season in 2016-17. The 21-year-old's top-six gig and role on the power play ensures his offensive skills are getting used to their full potential. He only has one goal on the season and isn't shooting much, but he's been making some great plays and the points should continue rolling in.

Fiala scored his first goal of the season and added an assist during Tuesday's 6-3 win over Washington.
EDGE Analysis
While the talented winger went the first 15 games without marking the goal column, he did collect seven helpers to somewhat buoy his fantasy value. With the flood gates potentially opened for Fiala, his stock could rise quickly in all settings. He's receiving top-six minutes and power-play time, so the 21-year-old speedster is also in a position to succeed.

Fiala skated with the newly-acquired Kyle Turris on the second line during Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
Although Fiala did not register a point in this game, he still saw ice time of 16:02 (including 1:18 on the power play) and fired three shots on goal. Fiala has just seven points on the season thus far (all assists), but if he and Turris can develop a bit of chemistry over the next few games, you should see Fiala add to his scoring totals going forward.

Fiala recorded his second consecutive assist and saw a season-high 17:56 of ice time -- including 3:21 on the power play -- in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Islanders. He spent most of the game playing on the top line alongside Ryan Johansen and Filip Forsberg.
EDGE Analysis
Now with five points in 10 games this season, Fiala is currently on pace for a 40-point season, which would represent a significant step forward for the 21-year-old winger. He is still looking for his first goal, but that will surely come, especially if he continues to see time on the first unit. He's worth a pickup if he's still floating around on your league's waiver wire.

Fiala (upper body) was listed on the second line for morning skate Tuesday, ahead of the evening's home game against the Flyers, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports.
EDGE Analysis
Barring a late setback, it appears that Fiala will be fit to play in this next contest. He joined Filip Forsberg and Calle Jarnkrok for the a.m. skate, and will be an option for the power play if he does in fact suit up.

Fiala (upper body) is out for Saturday night's contest against the Penguins, Adam Vingan of the Tennessean reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 21-year-old winger scored 11 goals and 16 points last year in his first full NHL season. Fiala underwent offseason surgery on his femur, but thankfully this injury is unrelated. There's no timetable for his return, but this injury doesn't appear to be too serious.

Fiala lit up the scoreboard in a 5-3 preseason victory over Columbus on Sunday, finding the back of the net twice.
EDGE Analysis
The speedster scored with 110 seconds left in the second period, and then added an empty netter to put away Columbus for good. Fiala's fractured femur seems to be a distant memory, and after having a strong 2016-17 regular season Fiala will likely be handed a second line role for the 2017-18 season.

Fiala (leg) is 100 percent healthy ahead of Nashville's training camp.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala underwent surgery to repair a fractured femur after suffering a gruesome injury in the second round of last season's playoffs, but the 21-year-old winger was able to resume skating in June, and he should hit the ground running when the Predators open the 2017-18 campaign Oct. 5 against the Bruins. The 2014 first-round pick was decently productive while skating in a bottom-six role last season, notching 16 points (11 goals, 5 assists)in 54 games. However, he's expected to skate on Nashville's second line and second power-play unit this season, a role that could allow him to burst-through the 30-point threshold for the first time in his career.

Fiala (leg) got in some skating Thursday, a good sign for his recovery.
EDGE Analysis
Reports out of Nashville have consistently put Fiala's recovery as ahead of schedule -- the news that he is back on the ice only serves to confirm those reports. The winger figures to play a significant role for the Predators this season, especially after the loss of James Neal in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft. The 20-year-old Fiala will likely exceed both his games played (54) and points (16) during the 2017-18 campaign and could be worth a look by owners in most fantasy formats.
