Fiala was sent down to AHL Milwaukee on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala has managed just nine points in 32 outings this season and has periodically been a healthy scratch, including Saturday's matchup with Colorado. Even when in the lineup, the 20-year-old is averaging only 13:31 of ice time per night, which he will certainly be able to outpace with the Admirals. The winger has shown plenty of talent in the minors, but still needs time to mature his game in order to be NHL ready.

Fiala was a healthy scratch for Saturday's game against the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
With just two points in his previous 14 games, the writing was on the wall for the 20-year old Fiala. On Friday, the Preds acquired Cody McLeod from the Avalanche and opted to start him Saturday against his former team, leaving no room for Fiala in the lineup. As a fresh-faced rookie on the Preds' roster, this was not the first time Fiala had served as a scratch this season, and it likely won't be the last. He has a very bright future ahead of him, but for now does not offer much value outside of very deep leagues.

Fiala scored the team's only goal in a 2-1 overtime loss to the Canadiens on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala broke the goose egg with less than a minute remaining in the second period when his shot was deflected off the stick of a Habs defender and up over Carey Price's shoulder. The 20-year-old now has six goals, eight points and 64 shots on net in his first full NHL season, so it's clear he still has a ways to go to fulfill his 11th-overall draft stock from 2014.

Fiala has seen his ice time fluctuate wildly over the past several weeks, from a high of 19:11 on Dec. 4 to a low of 8:14 on Dec. 17.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala has been shuffled regularly between the first and third lines lately, as coach Peter Laviolette is still figuring out where the 20-year-old rookie fits best in the lineup. As such, Fiala makes for a very tough fantasy start because one never knows what kind of ice time he's going to see in any given game. He has just seven points in 23 games this season, giving him fantasy value in deeper leagues only.

Fiala notched an assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's win over the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
Don't look now, but the 20-year-old suddenly has four points in his last four games, and is playing on a line with Filip Forsberg and Mike Ribeiro. After being held off the scoresheet in nine of his first 10 games, Fiala is finally showing signs of putting it all together. He's worth a speculative play in deeper leagues at this point.

Fiala potted a goal on four shots over 15:37 on the ice in Tuesday's win over Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
The young winger looked mighty strong out there after making a quiet return to the NHL (9:49 of ice time, two shots, no points) on Sunday in the aftermath of his most recent recall. With first-round pedigree (No. 11 overall in 2014) and solid AHL production (78 points in 106 career games, including eight in seven this year), Fiala has plenty of upside. It's not clear how long the Preds plan to keep him around, but a few more points on the board in the next few games would make him awfully hard to demote.

Fiala, along with three other skaters from AHL Milwaukee, were recalled Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala joins Frederick Gaudreau, Michael Liambas, and Petter Granberg as those recalled from the Preds' minor-league affiliate in order to provide roster depth as the team battles through injuries. Fiala, the No. 11 overall pick in the 2014 draft, has emerged as one of the Predators' top prospects as he compiled 50 points over 66 games last season for AHL Milwaukee and is already averaging over a point per contest in the minors in 2016-17.

Fiala was returned to AHL Milwaukee on Tuesday, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala is the top prospect of the Predators, per Hockey's Future. Known to be incredibly crafty and smooth on his skates, Fiala averaged 11:56 of ice time over 10 NHL games this season, and flashed his offensive potential with a two-goal effort against the Penguins on Oct. 22. Still, he may be better off honing his game in the minors, where the minutes would be aplenty.

Fiala, who was a healthy scratch Tuesday against the Avalanche, returned to the lineup Thursday against the Coyotes, but failed to crack the scoresheet for the eighth time in nine games.
EDGE Analysis
Last year in the AHL, Fiala led the Milwaukee Admirals in scoring with 50 points in 66 games, yet he has not had much of an impact so far in his first full season with the Preds. True, he did turn some heads with a two-goal game back on Oct. 22 against Pittsburgh, but otherwise he has been quiet. He is skating mostly in a bottom-six capacity thus far, averaging just 12 minutes per game, giving him very little by way of fantasy value at this point in the season.

Fiala scored twice in Saturday's win over the Penguins
EDGE Analysis
It was the first two goals of the season for Fiala, who also fired three shots on goal. He's currently skating on the second line with Filip Forsberg, so look for the 20-year-old to build off this multi-goal effort moving forward. Fiala netted 18 goals in the AHL last season and should light the lamp fairly often this year if he sticks in a top-six role and on the power play.
