Fiala is expected to be in the lineup for Tuesday's road clash against Winnipeg, Anthony LaPanta of Fox Sports North reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala was sent to Minnesota in exchange for Mikael Granlund, and will take his spot on the first power-play unit. The 22-year-old is expect to take on a top-six role, and is currently expected to play with Luke Kunin and Zach Parise on the second line. The Swiss-born product will get every opportunity for the Wild to improve his 32 points in 62 games.

Fiala was flipped to Minnesota from Nashville in a swap for Mikael Granlund, Bob McKenzie of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala has just one goal in his previous 11 outings, so a change of scenery could do the winger some good. With the Wild, the 22-year-old will likely get an opportunity to earn his way into a top-six role, though a lingering slump could also cause him to drop down the depth chart, much as he did with the Preds.

Fiala scored his team's only goal in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Golden Knights.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala has been reunited with Kyle Turris on the team's second line, but only has a goal and a pair of helpers over his past six games to show for it, while Turris has posted nothing but goose eggs. Hopefully the pair can rekindle the same chemistry they showed last season that saw them become one of the better second lines in the NHL. Colton Sissons has been flanking Fiala and Turris on the right side the last few games, but he's been quiet too, so you might see coach Peter Laviolette eventually turn back to Craig Smith, Fiala's regular right winger from last season.

Fiala snapped a four-game pointless drought with with a goal in Friday's 4-1 win over the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Now with just nine tallies through 53 games, Fiala may not crack the 20-goal plateau as he did last season, especially without Kyle Turris (lower body) setting him up every night. However, he's still on track to finish in the 45-50 point range, which affords him reasonable fantasy value in most formats. The 22-year-old Swiss winger continues to skate on the Preds' second line with Nick Bonino and Craig Smith.

Fiala scored the Predators' only goal in a 2-1 road loss to the Blackhawks on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala had a breakthrough season last year, coming within two points of the 50-point plateau with 23 goals and 25 assists. This season, however, he has regressed badly with just 17 points through 35 games, putting him on pace to finish somewhere in the 35-40 point range. Fiala is currently seeing time on the Preds' top line, but only because Viktor Arvidsson, the team's regular No. 1 right winger, remains out with a hand injury and is not expected back until early January. For fantasy purposes, Fiala makes for a good spot start as long as he's seeing top-six minutes, but be prepared to drop him once Arvidsson is back in the lineup.

Fiala extended his current point drought to four games Wednesday against the Blues, and played mostly on the fourth line.
EDGE Analysis
Don't look now, but Fiala went from top-six status to checking-line status almost overnight. His ice time was a season-high 20:02 Nov. 15 against the Coyotes, but it plummeted to just 6:41 and 7:09, respectively, in the next two games. Against the Blues, Fiala's ice time was a respectable 13:44, however he still spent most of the game on the fourth line with Frederick Gaudreau and Miikka Salomaki. We don't expect the demotion to be a permanent one, but we still can't recommend Fiala for fantasy purposes right now, at least until he returns to his usual scoring-line role.

Fiala recorded an assist for the second straight game in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win against the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
After getting off to a slow start this season with zero points in his first six games, Fiala now has seven points in his last 10 and looks to be rounding into form. The 26-year-old Swiss native has bounced around the lineup quite a bit this season, but is now back to skating in his usual spot on the second line alongside Kyle Turris and Craig Smith -- two guys with whom he showed a great deal of chemistry last season. If you were holding off putting Fiala into your fantasy lineups due to his early-season struggles, we suggest you consider re-activating him soon, as he appears to be back to his usual productive self.

Fiala is expected to play on the top line with Filip Forsberg and Ryan Johansen against the Bruins on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
With the Preds' regular No. 1 right winger Viktor Arvidsson expected to miss a second consecutive game with a lower-body injury, it appears the 22-year-old Fiala will get a chance to fill his spot. With just five points through 13 games, Fiala has been quiet this year, but Saturday will be a great opportunity for him to bust out. He makes for a great last-minute streaming option in daily formats.

Fiala spent most of Saturday's game against the Islanders on the fourth line, skating just 10:22 with zero points and no shots on goal.
EDGE Analysis
Last season, Fiala recorded a career-high 48 points as part of the Preds' vaunted second line alongside Kyle Turris and Craig Smith, so his current checking-line role definitely takes his fantasy value down a notch or two. However, we wouldn't be surprised if coach Peter Laviolette reunites the "SmUrF" line at some point to try and rekindle some of last year's magic. Put Fiala on your fantasy bench for now, but keep a close eye on his minutes and his linemates. He's just too talented to play on the fourth line all season, so be patient.

Fiala worked on his conditioning over the summer and practiced his shot every day, with an eye towards improving his offensive totals this season, reports Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site.
EDGE Analysis
With five points in Monday's preseason contest against the Panthers (1 goal, 4 assists), it would appear that Fiala's hard work during the offseason is about to pay off. The 22-year-old Swede recorded a career-high 23 goals and 48 points last season, but says he's aiming even higher this season. Expected to resume his role on the Preds' second line with Kyle Turris and Craig Smith, Fiala could be primed for another step forward this year, if Monday's game was any indication. Don't be afraid to grab him in the middle rounds of your draft as a 50-point scorer with plenty of upside.
