Fiala wound up with three goals and an assist through 11 games in the 2018 Stanley Cup playoffs.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala transitioned well to his full-time role in 2017-18, as he produced 23 goals, 25 assists and 13 power-play points over 80 regular-season contests. However, his relative inexperience was evident in the playoffs as Fiala failed to establish an offensive rhythm and Predators coach Peter Laviolette even sent him to the press box for Game 4 of the conference semifinals against the Jets. Growing pains are to be expected from the 21-year-old Swiss national, but fantasy owners should know that Fiala was a first-round (11th overall) draft selection in 2014 and his prime years still lie ahead.

Fiala's expected to rejoin the lineup for Saturday's Game 5 against the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala was the hero in Game 2, scoring the double-overtime winner. Despite that accomplishment, the 2014 first-rounder was scratched in favor of veteran Scott Hartnell in Game 4. Fiala's back after that one-game absence, and line rushes at morning skate suggest he'll be placed on a line with Kyle Turris and Craig Smith.

Fiala's in line to be scratched from Game 4 against the Jets on Thursday, as the winger stayed on the ice late in the morning session, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports.
EDGE Analysis
If Fiala sits as expected, Vingan has Scott Hartnell tabbed as the replacement option. The former has two goals in this series, but Fiala was limited to 12:28 of ice time in Game 3 and only mustered one shot on goal. It'll be worth checking on his status closer to pregame warmups to be sure there's not an injury getting in the way of his playing time.

Fiala scored in the second overtime period of Sunday's Game 2 against Winnipeg.
EDGE Analysis
The Swiss forward has now scored in consecutive games after being held off the board in the final four contests of the Preds' first-round series against Colorado. Fiala's skillset was on full display as he scored the game winner, using his speed to drive to the net and then finishing off Craig Smith's feed with a patient move to his backhand. Now playing with renewed confidence, Fiala is a player to keep an eye on as this series progresses.

Fiala chipped in a power-play goal and an even-strength assist as the Predators edged the Avalanche 5-4 on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala opened the scoring for the Predators and he was the primary distributor on an Austin Watson goal in the third period to help the Preds pad the series lead two games to none. A dynamic scoring threat, Fiala starts games on the second line but typically ends up with bottom-six minutes, though he could prove to be an X-factor throughout the playoffs.

Fiala notched an assist in Thursday's 5-3 win over San Jose.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a terrific sophomore campaign for Fiala, after finishing with just 16 points as a rookie last season. Now with 47 points in 75 games, he needs just a modest push in the last week of the regular season to crack the 50-point mark. At just 21 years of age, we think the best is yet to come for the Swiss winger, so don't be afraid to lock him up in your keeper leagues.

Fiala scored the game-winning goal and had an assist Thursday against the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
Fiala has scored in back-to-back contests and has been credited with 11 shots on goal in that span. The Predators are now riding a 13-game point streak and Fiala has been a dynamic scoring threat on the second line. The 21-year-old now has 23 goals and 45 points in 68 games and should be owned in the majority of fantasy settings.

Fiala registered a power-play assist in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win against the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
Now with 42 points in 64 games, Fiala is enjoying a breakout sophomore season with the Preds, and should easily crack the 50-point barrier over the last 17 games of the regular season. Fiala has looked particularly good lately, with six points in his last eight games, lining up with Kyle Turris and Ryan Hartman on the Preds' second line.

Fiala recorded two assists -- one on the power play -- during Monday's 5-2 win over Ottawa.
EDGE Analysis
With 18 goals, 20 assists, 12 power-play points and 134 shots through 57 games, Fiala is having a solid offensive campaign, and especially considering it's his first full season in the league. Unfortunately, like most young players, the 21-year-old winger lacks the game-to-game consistency to be a universal fantasy asset. Still, owners who can live with the offensive peaks and valleys will likely be rewarded with solid year-end numbers from Fiala.

Fiala scored his 18th goal of the season on three shots in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
His third-period goal looked like it might stand up as the winner before Jonathan Drouin got one past Pekka Rinne inside the final two minutes of regulation. Fiala now has five goals in his last five games and nine points (seven goals, two assists) in his last 10, providing the Preds with a much-needed scoring threat outside of the Ryan Johansen-Viktor Arvidsson-Filip Forsberg trio.
