Ho-Sang was called up from AHL Bridgeport on Wednesday under emergency conditions.
EDGE Analysis
With the flurry of movement at the trade deadline, combined with the requirements of being eligible for the AHL playoffs, Ho-Sang will likely find his name bouncing up and down the organization. The Isles are back in action Thursday against the Stars and the winger figures to be in the lineup given the number of injured players for New York. If he does suit up, it would mark the 21-year-old's NHL debut.

The Islanders returned Ho-Sang on loan to AHL Bridgeport on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Ho-Sang was returned to the minors just a few hours after being promoted to the big club, which suggests the Islanders may be in need of the roster spot he was filling for a potential trade pickup or for a player returning from injury. Newsday's Arthur Staple expects Ho-Sang to be recalled again Wednesday after the "dust has settled," so the exciting prospect could still be in the lineup for Thursday's matchup with Dallas despite being bounced back to the minors.

Ho-Sang was brought up to the Capitals on an emergency basis Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The Islanders have several forwards dealing with injuries -- including winger Andrew Ladd, who has suffered a back ailment -- giving Ho-Sang the opportunity to be around the big club ahead of Thursday's road game against the Stars. A highly touted prospect with great hands, Ho-Sang has picked up 36 points (10 goals, 26 assists) in 48 games with the AHL's Sound Tigers this season. He'd be a sneaky bargain play in daily leagues if the injured regulars need more time to heal.

Ho-Sang was sent to Bridgeport of the AHL on Thursday, Arthur Staple of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is not bad news as it was expected all along that Ho-Sang would begin this season in the AHL. He played very well this preseason and has rebuilt his reputation after showing up late to the first day of camp last season. He remains one of the top Islander prospects.

Ho-Sang is looking forward to a second chance to make a first impression, Arthur Staple of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ho-Sang overslept and was late for the first day of training camp last season. The Isles immediately punished him and sent him packing. With the Islanders having more than enough forwards in camp there is very little chance that Ho-Sang will make the team but he's still one of the teams top prospects and a good showing could make him one of the first players called up when injuries arise.

He signed his entry-level contract with the Isles in October and he has 72 points in 53 OHL games thus far this season.

Ho-Sang signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Islanders on Saturday and was assigned to his junior club (OHL Windsor), Arthur Staple of Newsday reports. Ho-Sang will spend a third consecutive year at Windsor, where he'll look to keep piling up the points while finding a way to reign in his temper. He tallied 32 goals and 85 points over 67 games in 2013-14.
