Lehtera picked up his first points in six games when he set up three goals in a 6-1 win over the Maple Leafs on Saturday night. The 27-year-old, first-year player has a respectable 36 points in 58 games. He probably would have hit 50 this season had he not missed time with that concussion. So remember his name next year at draft -- he could deliver some decent complementary scoring on the cheap.

Lehtera picked up his 23rd assist of the season Friday in a 5-1 win over Boston. He was plus-2 and added a hit and blocked shot in the game. This was a strong performance in his return to centering a line with Jaden Schwartz and Vladimir Tarasenko. He has picked up assists in two of his last three games and getting back chemistry with those two wingers should help him get his offensive game back on track.

Lehtera will move to the Blues' third line Tuesday against Dallas and be between wingers Patrick Berglund and Dmitri Jaskin, reports Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.While coach Ken Hitchcock characterized the move as "an experiment" this hurts Lehtera's potential output. His production had slowed recently (he has just five points since January 1) and no longer having Jaden Schwartz and Vladimir Tarasenko will make it tougher to produce points. Downgrade him in your lineup accordingly.

Lehtera notched an assist and the game-winning tally in the shootout in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Panthers.Lehtera's pace has been slowing since the start of the season, but Sunday's effort was enough to snap a six game pointless streak. His numbers overall are still decent--31 points in 49 games--but he's been on the scoresheet just four times since Dec. 18, so that rate could continue to drop by the end of the season.

Lehtera (concussion) was able to get on the ice for a skating session prior to Saturday's practice, NHL.com's Lou Korac reports. Coach Ken Hitchcock has already ruled Lehtera out for Sunday's game against the Blackhawks, but the center's on-ice workout suggests that he's been noticing continued progress in his recovery from the head injury. He'll probably need to get in a skate or two with the full team before making his return to the lineup, which could happen at some point during the upcoming week.
