Lehtera dished out a pair of assists -- one on the power play -- in Monday's loss to the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtera continues to dish out the helpers, but he's found the back of the net himself just once in the last 14 games. As a result, the 28-year-old hasn't really been able to build on last season solid campaign with just 27 points in 62 games, but he could still make for an intriguing option in deeper formats.

Lehtera had a goal and an assist in Saturday's 4-1 victory over Minnesota. The points snapped a six-game point drought.
EDGE Analysis
The goal was the game-winner; it came on the power play. In fact, both of Lehtera's points came with the man advantage. Lehtera hasn't taken off after last season's 44 points and he's on pace for just a low-30s finish. That makes him valuable in deep formats, but less-than-effective in smaller leagues.

Lehtera notched the winner in overtime Saturday night to lift the Blues to a 4-3 victory over the Canadiens. He also had an assist and finished plus-2.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtera is starting to look like the fantasy target we all drafted. He's on a four-game, five-point streak (two goals, three assists) and he has six points in his last six. Remarkably, Lehtera's game has picked up now that Patrik Berglund has returned to the Blues. The two don't play together at even strength, but it's clear Berglund's presence has altered the chemistry of the team's top-nine. And that's great news for Lehtera's owners. Check the wire. He may have been discarded earlier in the season. Now is the time to go get him.

Lehtera collected a power-play helper in Tuesday's 5-2 win over New Jersey.
EDGE Analysis
This was Lehtera's third point in the last four games. On the down side, he somehow skated to a minus-2 in the contest, but that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. With 18 points in 46 games, he hasn't been nearly as effective as he was last year when he put up 14 goals, 30 assists and an eye-popping plus-21 rating. Lehtera has been especially disappointing in leagues that count shots, as he barely averages a shot on goal per game (54 SOG), so hopefully the return of Jaden Schwartz from a season-long ankle injury -- which should come in February -- helps balance the Blues' lineup and sparks the Finn.

Lehtera dished out a pair of assists Tuesday night, contributing to a 4-3 overtime win over the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtera had goose eggs in each of his previous four showings, so this output was a welcoming site for his fantasy owners. Still, the Finn has been anything but a reliable option as he's recorded just one goal and three helpers since the start of December. Lehtera will be hard-pressed to match the 44 points (14 goals, 30 assists) he recorded in 2014-15, his rookie season.

Lehtera has scored just one goal and one assist in December.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtera has been unable to duplicate his performance from his 2014-15 rookie season in which he put up 14 goals and 30 assists, registering a mere 13 points in 36 contests this season. It seems the 28-year-old has hit a sophomore slump after his move from the KHL and things wont get any easier when the Blues return to action Saturday against the Stars.

Lehtera tipped the puck into the goal Saturday, but it wasn't enough as the Blues lost to the Red Wings in overtime, 4-3.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtera put his stick in the way of a Jay Bouwmeester shot and it caused the puck to change direction and head right into the net. He's a top-six forward averaging 2:34 on the man advantage, so don't lose sight of Lehtera in fantasy leagues. The Finn had 44 points (14 goals, 30 assists) as a rookie last season and remains one of the most exciting playmakers in the NHL.

Lehtera said he will play in Thursday evening's matchup against the Sabres, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtera returns after leaving in the first period Tuesday night in Columbus after taking a stick to the face. The 27-year-old Finn will likely be playing on either the second or third line for the Blues.

Lehtera will be a game-time decision for Thursday's tilt against the Sabres, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtera exited Tuesday's game against Columbus in the first period after taking a high stick to the face from the Jackets' Brandon Saad, and was ultimately unable to return to the contest. If he is unable to go Thursday, Scott Gomez or Kyle Brodziak could slide up to the second line in his absence.

Lehtera left Tuesday evening's game in Columbus after taking a high stick to the face from Brandon Saad in the first period.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtera has been playing pretty decently this season, totaling 10 points through 18 games for the Blues. Though the status of his injury is unclear at this point, it is possible the injury will put his status in doubt for the Blues' next game Thursday night against the Sabres. If Lehtera is unable to play, either Scott Gomez or Kyle Brodziak could possibly take his place on the second line.
