Eberle (undisclosed) missed practice Saturday, Joanne Ireland of the Edmonton Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Eberle finished Friday's tilt against the Stars, providing the lone assist on Leon Draisaitl's game-winning goal in overtime, but then underwent an x-ray on the foot he used to block a shot in the contest. The results of the x-ray have not been reported, but the 25-year-old winger wasn't present at Saturday's practice, indicating he may be dealing with an injury. Eberle could also simply be knicked up, but his status is certainly worth monitoring ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Sabres.

Eberle scored in overtime Friday against the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
Now that's the Eberle we had come to know and love. The 25-year-old beat Stars' goalie Antti Niemi with a filthy wrist shot for his first goal in seven games. While he's stuck at four goals and no assists in 14 games on the season, Eberle was bumped up to the top line with Taylor Hall Friday, so expect him to build off this clutch performance and start putting up points more regularly.

Eberle has been returned to the top line with Taylor Hall and Leon Draisaitl, report the Edmonton Journal.
EDGE Analysis
Eberle hasn't scored since Nov. 20 versus the Devils so the promotion could catch some by surprise. The Oilers as a team aren't playing well and this just may be a way for the coaching staff to try and spark the team.

Eberle (illness) returned to practice Tuesday, reports Oilers web site.
EDGE Analysis
Eberle had missed practice Monday with an illness but was never in any danger of missing game action. He has moved up to the second line however as currently he is slotted to play with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Benoit Pouliot.

Eberle (illness) missed Monday's practice, Jason Gregor of TSN 1260 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite missing practice, Eberle is expected to play against Chicago on Wednesday, with bench boss Todd McLellan having chalked up his absence as "trying to keep sick guys away from healthy guys." After a slow start to the season, Eberle has found himself on the third line, but he is still getting 2:39 of power play time per game. With Eberle's level of talent, he should find a way to break out of his slump in the near future.

Eberle admitted Tuesday that he is still a bit rusty, reports Oilers web site.
EDGE Analysis
Eberle admitted that the hardest thing about missing the first month of the season is adjusting to the speed of the game. Eberle did score a power play goal in his first game back but coach Todd McLellan still thinks he may have expected to much to soon from his top winger so he has moved him down to the third line for the immediate future. McLellan though has tinkered with his forward lines all season long so this is unlikely to last very long.

Eberle (shoulder) will make his season debut Friday against the Penguins, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Eberle's return couldn't come at a better time for the Oilers, as they just lost Connor McDavid (collarbone) indefinitely, which left the team exceedingly thin at center. With Eberle back in the lineup, Edmonton is expected to move Leon Draisaitl back to his natural center position, where he will likely skate alongside Eberle and Taylor Hall on the Oilers' top line.

Eberle (shoulder) is scheduled to practice again on Wednesday and is in line to play Friday, Jason Gregor of the Edmonton Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Eberle was injured toward the end of the preseason and his absence stunted the potential of the youthful Oilers team. With Connor McDavid getting injured Tuesday night, Eberle's return could not come at a better time for the team. He scored 24 goals and 63 points in 81 games last season and has been one of the most durable players in the league, this injury notwithstanding.

Eberle (shoulder) has begun skating with the team in practice, reports Oilers web site.
EDGE Analysis
Eberle is not yet taking line rushes with the starters, but rather on what would be a fifth line, indicating he is not yet ready to return. Still though this is a good sign and Eberle could be ready to return to the lineup in the very near future. The bigger question might be what line will he play on. Leon Draisaitl looks right at home playing on the top line and Nail Yakupov may be the Oilers MVP so far this season on the second line. One of this duo, likely Draisaitl, will likely lose their top six forward position.

Eberle (shoulder) has been placed on long-term injured reserve.
EDGE Analysis
According to Jason Gregor of the Edmonton Journal. Eberle participated in the morning skate Thursday, as he continues to rehab a shoulder injury that he sustained in a preseason game, and despite being placed on LTIR, he's eligible to return to game ice once healthy, considering the move was retroactive to the start of the season.
