Gibson will assume the home net in Wednesday's Game 7 against the Oilers, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Statheads, sports historians and reporters -- including Helene Elliott of the Los Angeles Times --  they're all shining light on the fact that the Ducks have been eliminated from the playoffs after jumping out to a 3-2 series advantage in four straight seasons. Gibson will try to reverse those fortunes, but in order to do so, he needs not dwell on his performance from Game 6, when yanked in favor of Jonathan Bernier after coughing up three goals on six shots. Rest assured that Gibson will be keeping a hawk's eye on Leon Draisaitl's whereabouts after the German put the puck past him twice in the first period Sunday.

Gibson was pulled from Sunday's Game 6 loss to the Oilers after giving up three goals on six shots.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson didn't even last 10 minutes before Jonathan Bernier made his second appearance of the postseason. The former Maple Leaf didn't fare much better, giving up four goals on a night the Ducks were dumped by a 7-1 score. Gibson hasn't been at his best this series, but he'll have a chance for redemption in Game 7 on Wednesday. He was terrific in the regular season, but the playoffs have been a different story, so Game 7 will really give you an idea of who this guy is.

Gibson will be the starter in Game 6 against Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson's .912 save percentage and 2.71 GAA in the playoffs are pretty good, but worse than his stellar .924 save percentage and 2.22 GAA in the regular season. The Oilers have scored three or more goals in four of the five games this series, so Gibson might not be the best fantasy bet.

Gibson saved 35 of 38 shots during Friday's Game 5 double-overtime win against Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
The Oilers netted three second-period goals, but Anaheim battled back late in the third period, and Gibson saved all 21 shots he faced after the second frame. The backstop has now allowed three goals in four consecutive games and sports an underwhelming .901 save percentage and 2.78 GAA during the series. Gibson might need to be sharper to win Game 6 in Edmonton on Sunday.

Gibson will face pucks from the Oilers in Game 5 of their second-round series Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson was far from outstanding in his last two starts in Edmonton, allowing three goals in each game for a cumulative .898 save percentage, but he received plenty of goal support from his offense and was able to walk away with victories in both contests. The 23-year-old sports a .919 save percentage in Anaheim during the current playoff run and has yet to beat the Oilers there during this series, so he'll look to pick up his play and give his team the series lead Friday.

Gibson saved 29 of 32 shots during Wednesday's Game 4 overtime win against Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
With a .894 save percentage and 3.02 GAA through the first four games of the series, Gibson really hasn't been sharp. However, he's been good enough to even the series and give Anaheim home-ice advantage again. Gibson has sky-high upside and posted a 17-72 record, .934 save percentage and 1.94 GAA through 26 regular season games at the Honda Center, so banking on him rebounding in Game 5 could pay off.

Gibson is in line to start between the pipes in Wednesday's Game 4 against the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson hasn't been great through the first three games of this series, compiling a 1-2-0 record while registering a sub-par 3.03 GAA and .889 save percentage over that span. He'll look to regain some of the sharpness he displayed in the Ducks' opening round matchup with Calgary and help his team even up their second-round series with Edmonton by picking up his fifth win of the postseason Wednesday evening.

Gibson turned away 24 of 27 shots in Sunday's Game 3 win over the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson made some outstanding timely saves as the Ducks exploded for six goals en route to their first win of the series. The 23-year-old hasn't been at his best against Edmonton, but this win could give a boost to his confidence moving forward. He's been average this postseason, so if he can find that extra gear that we saw throughout the regular season, Gibson could really play a key role in reversing this series.

Gibson led his team onto the ice for warmups, confirming that he will start Sunday's Game 3 in Edmonton, Helene Elliott of the LA Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson will look to bounce back after dropping the first two games of this second-round series on home ice. The 23-year-old didn't fair well during the regular season at Rogers Place, suffering losses in the only two contests he played there while allowing three goals in each game.

Early signs indicate that Gibson will tend the twine for Game 3 against the Oilers, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson stopped 21 of the 23 shots he faced in Game 2, but wound up dropping the contest anyway as the team fell behind 0-2 in the series. He's expected to give it another go Sunday as the club attempts to steal a game on the road.
