Gibson (lower body) will join the Ducks for their upcoming four-game road trip, Curtis Zupke of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson remains without a specific timeline to return to action, but the fact that he has been cleared to travel is certainly a step in the right direction. Until the 23-year-old is given the all clear, Jonathan Bernier will likely continue to see the bulk of the minutes between the pipes.

Gibson took part in Thursday's practice, Curtis Zupke of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
There's still no timetable for Gibson's return to game action, but his participation in Thursday's practice is clearly a step in the right direction. The American netminder hasn't played in nearly two weeks, so he'll likely need to log several full practices before making his next start in goal, but it appears his return to the lineup may not be too far off.

Gibson (lower body) skated before practice Monday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
At this stage, Gibson is pretty much limited to stretching and skating, thus clouding his potential return date. With his availability not imminent, the Ducks will continue to turn to fellow netminder Jonathan Bernier.

Gibson (lower body) won't dress for Wednesday's game against the Blues, the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has now missed eight of the Ducks' last nine games due to a nagging lower-body injury, and remains without a definite timetable for his return to Anaheim's lineup. Jonathan Bernier will continue to shoulder the load in goal while Gibson is sidelined, with Jhonas Enroth serving as the team's backup for the time being.

Gibson is dealing with a lower-body injury and is day-to-day.
EDGE Analysis
As such, he is not in the lineup Sunday against the Capitals and Jonathan Bernier is back between the pipes. The news come as a surprise just two days after Gibson made his return from a lower-body issue (in a loss to the Blues), which was his first start since Feb. 20, when he suffered the injury. Nonetheless, owners will want to keep their eyes peeled in the coming days as to the severity of his current injury, and if it will keep him out for the team's next game Wednesday, again versus the Blues.

Gibson allowed four goals on 35 shots in Friday's 4-3 loss against the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson was making his first start since Feb. 20 after dealing wit ha lower-body injury. He faced a lot of rubber against a good team on the road so the results were not a big surprise. Gibson faces a difficult stretch with a potential matchup against the Capitals on Sunday and a rematch with these same Blues Wednesday. He remains more of a No. 2 fantasy goalie at this point until he gets back into a groove and knocks off a little rust.

Gibson (lower body) will return to the starter's net for Friday's game in St. Louis, Dan Wood of the Ducks' Radio Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson's suspicious removal from injured reserve was in fact for good reason and the minder will be back in the net for the first time in six games. The 23-year-old looked sharp before he got injured, posting two wins, a 1.00 GAA, and .967 save percentage in three starts. He'll make his return against a Blues team that averages 2.91 goals per game at home.

Gibson (lower body) is no longer listed on injured reserve, per the NHL's official media site.
EDGE Analysis
Although Gibson is still projected to miss Friday night's game against the Blues, it's certainly intriguing that the team chose to remove him from IR now as opposed to prior to Sunday's matchup with the Capitals. Don't expect him to play Friday, but this move indicates he is much more likely to play Sunday.

Gibson (lower body) won't play the next two games in Chicago or St. Louis, Brian Hedger of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This news may frustrate anxiously awaiting fantasy owners, but Hedger notes that Gibson only came on the road trip to face shots during the Ducks' morning skates and, presumably, he was never going to return during the two-game swing. Gibson finally appears to be on the upswing though, so it's possible he'll be ready to go when the team returns to Anaheim on Sunday for a matchup with the Capitals.

Gibson (lower body) joined the team on its two-game road trip, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
The team's two-game road trip starts Thursday and ends Friday, so Gibson traveling could suggest he will be activated for one of the two tilts. The team should update his status again when he's ready to return to the crease, but it couldn't come soon enough as the Ducks continue to jostle for playoff positioning late in the season. Jonathan Bernier figures to continue serving as the starting netminder until Gibson is ready.
