Gibson made 49 saves on 51 shots in a 6-2 victory against the Candiens on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old faced an incredible amount of work, including 30 shots in the second period alone. Montreal scored twice in the middle frame, but that's it. One of those goals came on the power play, but Gibson helped keep that in check as well - the Canadiens went 1 for 6 on the man advantage. Gibson has received a ton of work early this season and responded well, yielding more than two goals in just one of his seven starts. He should remain an elite fantasy goaltender all season.

Gibson will guard the cage against the Canadiens on Friday, Eric Stephens of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson -- who has just two wins in six games -- should benefit from facing the Habs woeful offense which is averaging a league worst 1.43 goals per game. The netminder will be making his seventh consecutive start and may not get a rest day until Ryan Miller (wrist) is cleared to play.

Gibson stopped 30 of 32 shots in Sunday's loss to the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Another very strong night for Gibson, who has been excellent out of the gate. The 24-year-old owns a .924 save percentage through six games and is once again showing why he's regarded as one of the more reliable fantasy netminders. He didn't register a victory Sunday, but Gibson is the clear-cut starting goalie in Anaheim and is currently playing at a level that warrants a play in fantasy whenever he gets the nod.

Gibson (upper body) will be in the crease Sunday evening against Buffalo, Eric Stephens of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson left Friday's contest against the Avalanche with a minor injury, but he's evidently good to go against the visiting Sabres. His 2.80 GAA doesn't do him justice compared to a solid .923 save percentage through five starts, so hopefully the Ducks will be able to limit some of the shots against their No. 1 netminder Sunday.

Gibson (upper body) was a full participant in practice Saturday, NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This bodes well for Gibson's chances of dressing for Sunday's home game against the Sabres, though Anaheim's starter for the cross-conference clash has yet to be announced. He remains day-to-day.

Gibson is day-to-day with his upper-body ailment, Eric Stephens of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anaheim's primary netminder reportedly sustained his injury in warmups ahead of Friday's game against Colorado, and he ended up playing the first period of that eventual 3-1, setting aside 17 of 18 shots before getting pulled for Reto Berra. Given how well Gibson performed despite the apparent injury, we wouldn't be overly concerned about his status.

Gibson left the game after the first period of a 3-1 loss at Colorado, making 17 saves on 18 shots.
EDGE Analysis
No details of Gibson's injury were available after the game, but he performed admirably in a nightmare of a first period in terms of shots. His injury aside, the fact that the Ducks blocked 26 shots and still let 39 get to their goaltenders is alarming.

Gibson turned aside 39 of the 41 shots he faced in a 3-2 win over the Islanders on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson got off to a slow start to the season, but his last two starts have been better, even if he did lose his outing previous to this one. The Ducks were perhaps quietly one of the best defensive teams in the league last year, and Gibson has posted at least a .920 save percentage in his last two seasons.

Gibson will be between the pipes for Wednesday's clash against the Islanders, Eric Stephens of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has gotten off to a disappointing start to the year, as he has posted a 1-1-1 record with a 3.05 GAA. The netminder could be in for a busy evening versus New York which is averaging 34.7 shots per game -- 11th best in the league. The 24-year-old has improved his goals allowed in each of the opening three games, but unfortunately for his record, his offense has gotten worse as well.

Gibson allowed two goals on 29 shots in a 2-0 loss to visiting Calgary on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Unfortunately, Gibson was on the negative end of a rather significant milestone -- this was the first time the Flames had won in Anaheim in over 13 years (25 games). Still, he didn't play poorly and will continue to log the majority of the starts for the Quackers.
