Gibson will once again patrol the crease Saturday, taking on the Predators at home for Game 5 of the Western Conference finals, NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Ducks have started Gibson in every playoff game so far -- that's 15 matches and counting -- but he's responded admirably considering that he missed nearly all of March with a lower-body injury. In fact, only four times in that span had he posted a save percentage south of .900 over a given outing. While it's evident that Gibson is doing his job well, Anaheim is converting just 15.2 percent of its man-advantage opportunities and that could be problematic for the goaltender as he tries to guide his team closer to the Stanley Cup finals.

Gibson made 32 saves secure a 3-2 Game 4 overtime victory Thursday in Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson stopped all 20 shots he faced through two periods, with 18 of those coming in the second. He maintained that dominance throughout most of the third, but was beaten by PK Subban and Filip Forsberg as Nashville erased a 2-0 deficit in the final 6:27. Gibson's three overtime saves prior to Corey Perry's game-winner put him over the 30-save mark for the fourth consecutive contest.

Gibson will occupy the crease for Thursday night's Game 4 in Nashville, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson was handed a loss in Game 3 despite a strong 38-save performance, but the story of the night was how physical Nashville was with the 23-year-old keeper -- the Predators were able to crowd the crease and bump Gibson on multiple occasions, with one such situation directly leading to a goal. If the Ducks can protect their goalie and give him some offensive support on the other end of the ice, Gibson may be able to pull off his ninth win of the playoffs.

Gibson stopped 38 of 40 shots in Tuesday's Game 3 loss to the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson was the much busier goalie as he turned in a very strong performance that kept the Ducks in a game they had no business being in. While Anaheim now trails the series 2-1, Gibson has been stellar this round and is giving his team a great shot at winning every night. Pekka Rinne may be the better goaltender, but Gibson is playing well enough that if the offense can generate chances like they did in Game 2, the Ducks could still win the series.

Gibson will tend the twine for Tuesday's Game 3 in Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson enjoyed a nice victory at the expense of the Preds on Sunday, but still managed to allow three goals in that contest, something that has become sort of a theme for him recently -- the 23-year-old has allowed exactly three goals in six of his last seven starts. He'll look to tame Nashville in its own lair Tuesday, but that has proven to be an extremely difficult task, as the Predators have yet to lose on home ice and are averaging (coincidentally) three goals per game there during the playoffs.

Gibson stopped 30 of 33 shots in Sunday's Game 2 win over the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson got off to a rough start Sunday as he allowed two goals in the first ten minutes, but he really buckled down and shut the door later in the game. He was fantastic in Game 1 and has rebounded well after getting pulled in Game 6 against the Oilers. The 23-year-old has had his up-and-downs, but his ability to shut the door when it matters most is what could lift the Ducks past the Predators.

Gibson will be the starter in Sunday's Game 2, Predators Communications and Content Coordinator Brooks Bratten reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson faced an onslaught of offense from a well-rested Predators team in Game 1, but he still managed to save an impressive 43 of 46 shots in the home loss. The 23-year-old will look to remain composed once again, as the Ducks face a must-win situation on their home ice and look to even the series on Sunday.

Gibson saved 43 of 46 shots during Friday's Game 1 overtime loss to Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
This was a tough spot for Anaheim, and Gibson battened down the hatches and weathered the storm to give the Ducks a chance. After eliminating the Oilers on Wednesday, Anaheim had just a single day off before beginning the Western Conference Finals. Nashville, on the other hand, had four days to rest and prepare. Don't count out Gibson in Game 2 on Sunday, as the Ducks showed great resilience against Edmonton in Round 2.

Gibson will start between the pipes in Friday's Game 1 of the Western Conference finals against the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson enters this series sporting a sub-par .908 save percentage through 11 playoff games, the worst among the four remaining goalies hoping to lead their teams to the Stanley Cup Finals. The 23-year-old netminder was pretty shaky in the Ducks' second-round matchup with the Oilers, allowing at least three goals in five of seven games. He'll hope to fare better in another tough matchup with a Nashville squad that's averaged 2.80 goals per game this postseason.

Gibson saved 23 of 24 shots during Wednesday's Game 7 win over Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
This was Gibson's best game of the series, and he now sports a 7-3 record with a .908 save percentage and 2.80 GAA during the postseason. Of the four teams remaining in the playoffs, Anaheim has allowed the most high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes (11.9), so Gibson's mediocre ratios are definitely not entirely on him. His strong Game 7 performance is encouraging heading into the Western Conference Finals.
