Gibson gets the starting nod against the Flames on Tuesday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has not relented since grabbing hold of the starting job at the end of November, posting a 5-4-2 record, including two shutouts. The Ducks are undefeated in every game in which the young netminder has allowed two goals or less. With Anaheim struggling to score, Gibson will need to continue performing well on Tuesday against the Flames.

Gibson stopped 24 of 26 shots in Sunday's win over the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
It was the first win in five appearances for Gibson, who advances to 5-4-2 on the season. The 22-year-old is sporting an impressive .923 save percentage on the year, but the Ducks have been struggling to score goals, so the wins just haven't been there. If Anaheim can build off this four-goal outburst and start to turn their season around in the new year, Gibson, who has made 12 appearances this season, should start to pile on more wins.

Gibson led the Ducks onto the ice for warmups before Sunday's game against the Flyers, according to Ducks broadcaster Phil Hulett.
EDGE Analysis
GIbson will start for a second straight game and 10th time in the last 12 contests. He has a 1.97 GAA and .923 save percentage, but with the Ducks still struggling to score goals, he only owns a 4-4-2 record. Sunday's game will pit the NHL's two lowest-scoring teams.

Gibson gave up three goals on 22 shots in Tuesday's overtime loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Although he didn't face a ton of rubber, it's tough to fault Gibson for this one, given the Ducks' propensity for horrendous own-zone turnovers and Cam Fowler's ill-timed OT holding penalty. Nonetheless, this is the third consecutive start in which Gibson's given up three goals while making fewer than 20 saves. He got off to a fast start after being handed the Anaheim net, but both Gibson and Frederik Andersen will have a tough time putting up big fantasy stats with the Ducks still trying to find their game.

Gibson will start in net Tuesday against the Rangers, Helene Elliot of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson turned in a solid performance in his last game, stopping 18 of 19 shots against the Islanders in relief of starter Frederik Andersen. The 22-year-old netminder draws a New York team whose season has taken a nosedive, as they have won just three of their last 14 contests. The Rangers are currently in third place in the Metropolitan Division.

Gibson was forced into Monday night's contest against the Islanders, replacing a struggling Frederik Andersen before turning aside 18 of 19 shots in the eventual 5-2 loss.
EDGE Analysis
The Ducks elected to roll Andersen between the pipes after close to a month-long layoff, but clearly he wasn't ready based on three goals coughed up on 11 shots. As for Gibson, he was able to trim his league-best GAA to 1.87. Wins have been hard to come by for the Ducks, who are dead last in the Western Conference with a 12-15-5 record, and second to last with a minus-22 goal differential.

Gibson will not get the start in Saturday's game against the Devils, Tom Gulitti of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
After a pair of unimpressive outings from the young netminder, Frederik Andersen will get his first start in nearly a month Saturday. Gibson's next chance to start will come Monday when the Ducks take on the Islanders in the third game of their east coast road trip.

Gibson delivered his second straight subpar outing against low-quality competition Thursday, allowing three goals on 22 shots in a 3-0 loss to Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
After the Hurricanes got him for three goals on only 17 shots in his last outing, fantasy owners were looking for a bounce-back from Gibson in a plus matchup, but didn't get it. That takes a bit of the bloom off the rose of Gibson's red-hot run in since being handed the Anaheim net, and it could mean the Ducks give Saturday's start in New Jersey to Frederik Andersen.

Gibson will start in goal Thursday evening against the Sabres, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has played quite well in limited playing time this season, posting a 4-3-1 record with a .934 save percentage and 1.74 GAA in seven appearances. He did struggle in his last outing against the Hurricanes, giving up three goals on just 17 shots faced. He will face a Buffalo team on Thursday that have scored an average of just 2.28 goals per game through 32 contests this season. The Sabres are currently in seventh place in the Atlantic Division.

Gibson was pulled Friday against Carolina after giving up three goals on 17 shots.
EDGE Analysis
Tough night for Gibson, who had given up three goals in his previous four games combined. We wouldn't worry too much, as the 22-year-old still owns a .934 save percentage and has proved he's a reliable option in the cage. While Frederik Andersen is back to full health, the team was continuing to start Gibson, so look for that to potentially change following his lackluster performance Friday.
