Gibson will be between the pipes in Friday's game against the Hurricanes, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has been fantastic of late, posting a 2-0-0 record with an impressive 0.50 GAA and .979 save percentage in his last two appearances. He'll look to secure a third-consecutive win Friday against a Hurricanes club that has averaged just 2.29 goals per game this season, 27th in the NHL.

Gibson collected his fourth win of the season Sunday against Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
Despite regular starter Frederik Andersen's return to health, Gibson was still called upon to backstop his team on Sunday night. It turned out to be a good decision as he stopped 23 of 24 shots including nine in the third period to improve his record to 4-2-1 on the season. Gibson now sports a shining 1.47 GAA and .947 SV% for the year. It appears that the team will continue to ride Gibson while he's hot, but seeing as how he doesn't have to clear waivers to get sent down to the AHL, and the continued existences of Anton Khudobin and Frederik Andersen, Gibson is a candidate to end up back in San Diego at any point in time. Keep a close eye on his status in the coming days.

Gibson will receive the start in the crease Sunday against the Penguins, the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson continues to start most of the games for the Ducks with Frederik Andersen still sidelined with an illness of some kind. Given the young netminder's play, it will be interesting to see how things go when Andersen is healthy, but it wouldn't be surprising if Gibson sticks around.

Gibson stopped all 23 shots he faced in Friday's win over the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
That's the second win in three games for Gibson, who is doing well in the Ducks crease with the injury to Frederik Andersen. Gibson hasn't lost in regulation in four games and now owns a ridiculous .942 save percentage on the year. He'll likely be reassigned to the AHL once the workhorse Andersen returns, but the 22-year-old Gibson is likely the goalie of the future for Anaheim and owns a solid .922 save percentage in 32 career NHL appearances. Use him while you can.

Gibson will make his sixth-consecutive start against San Jose on Friday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has proved time-and-again that he is a legitimate number one goalie during Freddie Andersen's absence, posting a 1.87 goals against average and .932 save percentage. While it's still more than likely that Gibson is reassigned to the AHL once Andersen is healthy, continue to ride the young American until that day comes.

Gibson fell to 2-2-1 after allowing two goals on 22 shots in Wednesday's loss to the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has started five straight games with Frederik Andersen on the DL, as Ducks management would rather see what they have in the 22-year-old than roll with under-performing veteran backup Anton Khudobin. He has been extremely impressive with a 1.87 GAA and .932 save percentage in those five starts, however Anaheim's anemic offense has prevented Gibson from garnering a better record over that span.

Gibson will start in goal Wednesday against the Lightning, Eric Stepehns of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson's start will mark his fourth straight for the Ducks following the injury to Frederik Andersen. With Andersen's return likely right around the corner, it wouldn't be surprising if Gibson's run with the team comes to an end soon, but he'll at least get another chance in net Wednesday against a Lightning club scoring just 2.31 goals per game on the road this season.

Gibson denied all 25 shots he faced in Monday's win over the Canucks.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has now appeared in four straight games (three starts) since Frederik Andersen came down with the flu, and Monday was the best performance yet. He's played well overall since being recalled, posting a .936 save percentage and 1.82 GAA, but Andersen could return later in the week and figures to retake the starting duties.

Gibson has received the starting nod for Monday's tilt with with Vancouver, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Monday will be Gibson's fourth-consecutive start, meaning he will have started each game since being recalled November 24. Gibson is a highly-touted prospect and has already proved his worth in the NHL during different stretches over the last three seasons. Gibson is probably a better goaltender than Anaheim's current backup Anton Khudobin, but he has been in the AHL to get more game time in order to further his development. Frederik Andersen's injury has afforded an opportunity for the Ducks to give Gibson an extended run of starts in the NHL, but expect Gibson to be reassigned to the minors upon Andersen's return from injury.

Gibson yielded three goals on 32 shots in Friday's 3-2 overtime loss to Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson is getting time between the pipes as the result of Frederik Andersen dealing with the flu. He was cruising against the defending Stanley Cup champs Friday by not allowing any goals in the first two periods. However, Chicago scored twice in the final two minutes of regulation and Gibson was ultimately beaten in the 3-on-3 overtime period by Artem Anisimov.
