Gibson stopped 19 of 21 shots en route to a 5-2 win over the Canucks on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson was able to get the win after sitting the last two games due to an upper body injury. The 22-year-old is now 4-1-0 in his last five starts, with the one loss coming in an outlier of an off game against Pittsburgh on Feb. 8. Outside of that loss, he's only allowed eight goals on 109 shots, good for a .927 save percentage. This type of performance certainly only furthers the dilemma that coach Bruce Boudreau has when it comes to who to lean on the most between the posts here down the stretch.

Gibson (upper body) will start in the crease Thursday, opposing the Canucks on the road, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson missed the last two games due to injury but the fact that he's getting the starting nod -- opposed to getting eased in as a backup -- has us believing that his ailment was never serious. He'll face a Canucks team that is ranked no better than 14th in the league in goals per game (2.3), goals against (2.8), power-play percentage (17) and the penalty kill (81.1 percent).

Gibson got some work in during an optional skate before Tuesday's game, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Gibson getting some ice work in and backup goalie Anton Khudobin being reassigned, all signs certainly point to the 22-year-old being close to suiting up for the Ducks here soon. The team, currently in the midst of a 7-game, 13-day road trip, is taking the day off from practice on Wednesday. Coach Bruce Boudreau will surely have an update on Gibson's status following the team's morning skate in advance of their matchup with the Canucks on Thursday.

Gibson (upper body) will be scratched for Tuesday night's matchup against Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson was a late scratch Tuesday as he continues to recover from an upper-body injury sustained in his last game against Chicago on on Feb. 13. In Gibson's absence Frederik Anderson will likely continue to start with Anton Khudobin serving as the primary backup. The 22-year-old netminder's next chance to return will come Thursday when the Ducks play at Vancouver.

Gibson (upper body) will not dress for Monday's game against the Flames, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Gibson won't be available Monday (Anton Khudobin will serve as the backup), the fact that he was even in consideration would suggest the injury shouldn't hold the youngster out too long. That's great news for the Ducks and his fantasy owners, who look to climb the standings as the season begins winding down. While Gibson should continue to split starts with fellow netminder Frederik Andersen the rest of the way, he's been good enough (2.11 GAA, .917 save percentage) to warrant a roster spot in some fantasy formats. The Pennsylvania native has even more utility for those playing in daily fantasy contests. With Monday out of the picture, Gibson's next chance to dress and/or start comes Tuesday against the Oilers.

EDGE Analysis
Even if Gibson's available, Stephens suggests that Frederik Andersen will likely start the contest, with Gibson remaining in consideration for the backup role. Gibson left Saturday's game against Chicago after the second period due to an upper-body injury, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson was bowled over by the Blackhawks' Richard Panik, who was hooked while crashing the net. He was replaced by Frederik Andersen, who picked up the win when Ryan Getzlaf scored in the game winner in overtime. Gibson is day-to-day leading up to Monday night's game against Calgary.

Gibson was pulled after allowing six goals on 31 shots in a 6-2 loss on the road to Pittsburgh -- his hometown -- on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The pucks that got by him were spread out in this one, with three goals coming in the first period, one in the second and two in the third. The loss snaps a three-game winning streak for Gibson but also marks the third time in five games he's had a save percentage of .889 or lower, so he's been shaky of late to say the least. Nonetheless, the 22-year-old is now 12-8-2 with a .917 save percentage and 2.13 GAA on the season.

Gibson will tend the twine against the Penguins on Monday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson is riding a three-game winning streak, but will be challenged by a surging Pittsburgh team that leads the NHL in shots on goal per contest with 32.6. The netminder has struggled when facing the firing squad, as he's lost both of his outings in which he faced more than 30 shots. If his defenseman can clear out the crease, the 22-year-old has a chance to come away with his 13th win of the season on Monday.

Gibson picked up his third straight win by stopping 23 of 25 shots faced Thursday in Los Angeles.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson sports a 12-7-2 record despite his spectacular 1.92 GAA, as Anaheim's anemic offense has failed to provide him with adequate support for most of the season. The streaking Ducks have started to live up to lofty preseason expectations with a 12-3-1 record since the NHL's Christmas break, though, and the team's strong play should mean more wins to add to Gibson's stellar stat line moving forward.
