Gibson allowed four first-period goals and saved 28 of 32 shots before being pulled with 9:47 remaining in Friday's game against Columbus.

Gibson entered the start with an impressive .935 save percentage and 1.72 GAA through his previous five outings, but wasn't pretty Friday. The Blue Jackets crashed the net throughout the game, and the Anaheim offense couldn't narrow the gap after Gibson shut the door following his rough first period. The Ducks are off until Tuesday, so Gibson should receive the starting nod and try to rebound against the Kings.

Gibson turned away 17 of 19 shots in Sunday's win over Vancouver.

It was the fourth straight start for Gibson, who made some clutch stops and advanced to 2-2-1 in the process. He's currently sporting a .891 save percentage, but is trending in the right direction with back-to-back strong performances. The 23-year-old is the go-to-guy in Anaheim now and should build off two consecutive strong performances.

Gibson led the Ducks onto the ice for warmups and will play Sunday, according to Ducks PA announcer Phil Hulett.
