Gibson saved 33 of 35 shots during Monday's win over the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
The game-to-game inconsistency from Gibson has been maddening. With a mediocre 11-9-4 and .908 save percentage, it is difficult to trust the 23-year-old netminder. Talent isn't a concern, and Monday's outing was excellent, but you'll likely still want to be selective with the opponents you start Gibson against going forward.

Gibson will tend the twine in Monday's game against the Maple Leafs, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Registerreports.
EDGE Analysis
The 23-year-old hasn't been great lately, with a .857 save percentage and a 3.97 GAA in his last four games. Gibson will face a lot of pressure from the Leafs, who are in the top 10 in both goals per game and shots per game.

Gibson appeared in relief of Saturday's starter Jonathan Bernier on Saturday. He allowed two goals on 11 shots and took the loss.
EDGE Analysis
Unfortunately, the first goal he allowed came from Tomas Tatar's stick and that triggered a shower of hats for the hat trick. Gibson is scuffling lately -- he has just one appearance in his last five games where his save percentage is above .906. And three of those games were under .853. Gulp.

Gibson saved just 19 of 24 shots before being pulled in the third period of Tuesday's loss to Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a complete yo-yo act for Gibson this season. He's allowed two goals or fewer in 11 of 21 games but still entered Tuesday's contest with an underwhelming .912 save percentage and 2.50 GAA. Additionally, his 10-8-4 record is hardly anything to write home about. Gibson is best viewed as a low-end No. 2 goalie option in seasonal settings, and you should probably be selective with the opponents you start him against for the immediate future.

Gibson will be the starting goalie for Tuesday night's game in Dallas, Sean Shapiro of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has won four of his last five starts and the only loss he did sustain happened in overtime against a strong Edmonton team. In addition, he's allowed more than one goal in a game twice over that stretch -- he gave up three in the aforementioned OTL and five against the Hurricanes on Dec. 7, though his offense bailed him out of that one for the win. He begins a six game road trip Tuesday against an underperforming Stars offense that is scoring only 2.50 goals per game.

Gibson stopped 21 of 22 shots in a 5-1 victory against the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
The only goal he allowed came on a power play in the first eight minutes of the first period. It was a nice bounce back performance after Gibson yielded five goals in a shootout victory on Wednesday. The Pittsburgh native is 10-7-4 with a 2.50 GAA and .921 save percentage this season. Gibson's numbers are actually better on the road, which is a good thing in the short term, as the Ducks' next six games are away.

Gibson will tend goal against Ottawa on Sunday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
After getting rest in two of the last three games, Gibson is back in the crease. His .911 save percentage is above average, but in his last four games he's played well with a .925 save percentage and 2.42 goals against average. Considering the Senators are 24th in the league in goals per game, Gibson seems primed to continue the hot streak.

Gibson saved just 29 of 34 shots but turned away three of four shootout attempts during Wednesday's win over Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson wasn't sharp Wednesday, but at least he did enough to leave with the win. However, his yo-yo season continues, as Gibson has allowed three goals or more in six of his past nine starts but just three total over the other three games. At this point, it's difficult to start Gibson with confidence. The talent and upside are unquestioned, though, so it isn't time to cut ties with the 23-year-old backstop.

Gibson will defend the cage against the Hurricanes on Wednesday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has been getting the bulk of the starts again after splitting the month of November with backup Jonathan Bernier. Gibson has managed a pedestrian 2.45 GAA with a 8-7-4 record. The netminder should have a favorable matchup against the Canes, who are 26th in the league in goals per night at 2.28

Gibson stopped 29 of 32 shots in Saturday's overtime loss to the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
It was a good showing for Gibson, who's been playing well of late. The 23-year-old is now 8-7-4 on the season with a .915 save percentage. The Ducks are sitting fifth in the Western Conference standings and Gibson has helped play a role. He's had some rough outings this season, but his recent strong play is a positive sign moving forward. Gibson is worth inserting in your lineup whenever the Ducks are in action.
