Gibson will command the crease Saturday night as the road starter against the Oilers, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has thrived against Edmonton in his young career. As illustrated by Stephens in this latest report, the young tender is undefeated against the Oil in four career starts with a .973 save mark to boot. With 12 games in play Saturday, it may be difficult to sort through the top goalie options, but consider rolling with Gibson given his string of success against the Canadian club.

Gibson allowed just one goal on 27 shots in Thursday's 3-1 win over Vancouver.
EDGE Analysis
The Canucks didn't offer Gibson and his mates much trouble, as the 23-year-old carried a shutout well into the third period before Henrik Sedin broke it up. After skidding for a little while -- three-plus goals in four of five games -- he's stabilized over the last two, notching a pair of victorious one-goal efforts. That's good news for Gibson's fantasy owners, as Jonathan Bernier has sparkled in a backup role this year.

Gibson will be the starting netminder for Thursday night's showdown in Vancouver, NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson's November was a roller coaster ride, as he managed to look brilliant in some games but absolutely horrendous in others on his way to a 4-4-1 record for the month. He is coming off a strong 39-save win against the Canadiens on Tuesday and will look to keep it up against a Canucks team that ranks 27th in the league with 2.26 goals per game.

Gibson stopped 39 of 40 shots by the Canadiens in Tuesday night's 2-1 victory.
EDGE Analysis
He had a spectacular shutout bid in the works until Andrew Shaw broke it up with two minutes left, but that was the only black mark on a brilliant performance by Gibson. After all, he outdueled Carey Price in regulation -- something only one other goalie has done this year. This may have been just the kick he needed to overcome his recent malaise; over Gibson's prior five games, he'd gone just 1-3-1 with a 3.06 GAA and .887 save mark. He's got to post a more sustained run of success to truly get his stats in order, but Gibson did make his save percentage tick up six points (from .906 to a more respectable .912) with this fine performance.

Gibson will be in the crease as Tuesday's home starter against the Canadiens, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson allowed six goals over his last two starts, taking losses to the Kings and Blackhawks, respectively. Life as the No. 1 backstop has been met with its share of challenges for the 23-year-old, as he's 6-7-3 with a 2.62 GAA on the season, and is being outperformed by backup Jonathan Bernier, who only has one loss to complement a shiny .933 save mark in nine games. Montreal has won its past two matches despite totaling only four goals in that span.

Gibson gave up three goals on 25 shots during Friday's 3-2 loss to the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has been decent for the Ducks this year, but he has just three wins to his name in November. The 23-year-old sports a 6-7-3 record on the year, but the more concerning aspect would be his .906 save percentage. The 2011 second-round pick has never finished that low in his short career and may not have the chance to improve upon it when he heads to San Jose on Saturday.

Gibson will guard the goal in Saturday's home matchup with the Blackhawks, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson wasn't great in his last start, surrendering three goals on 29 shots in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Kings. The American netminder will look to bounce back in a surprisingly favorable matchup with a slumping Blackhawks team averaging just 2.00 goals per game on the road this season, 25th in the NHL.

Gibson stopped 26 of 29 shots in Sunday's loss to the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson couldn't pull though against a Kings team that got two power-play goals from Jeff Carter. The 23-year-old drops to 6-6-3 on the season with a .908 save percentage. He's shown flashes of brilliance this season, but his inconsistent play takes it's toll on fantasy owners. Look for the Ducks to continue riding Gibson, as they sit third in the Western Conference and have been getting decent enough goaltending from him.

Gibson will patrol the blue paint for Sunday's rivalry game against the Kings, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson's inconsistency has been real this year. For example, he followed up a disastrous Nov. 12 loss in Nashville with an excellent 33-save win against a talented Oilers team on Nov. 15. After receiving a night off, the 2011 second-round pick will face a Los Angeles offense that is scoring 2.47 goals per game.

Wed 11/16/16 11:52 AM

Gibson was great at home Tuesday, turning aside 33 of 34 shots in a 4-1 win over the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
Thats win No. 6 on the season for the young goaltender, who was in desperate need of a bounce-back performance after surrendering a horrendous seven goals on 36 shots across his last two starts. Even with the solid outing, his rate stats (2.55 GAA, .909 save percentage) aren't quite where they should be considering his career marks are 2.27 and .918, but Gibson is just 23 and still adjusting to life as an undisputed starter at the NHL level. With that in mind, owners would be wise to exercise patience with the Pittsburgh native.
