As long as he continues to register points, there's no reason to believe head coach Alain Vigneault won't continue to reward him with top-six minutes. Keep a close eye on the 24-year-old Swedish sophomore.

The 23-year-old Swede looked good in this one, firing three shots on goal for the second game in a row and skating to a plus-2 rating. Fast has just 16 points in 74 career NHL games, but with the right assignment on a line with any one of New York's many offensive weapons, he could be a decent contributor. He has some potential, as evidenced by his 34 points in 48 games with AHL Hartford in 2013-14.

Fast served as a healthy scratch in the team's last two tilts, including most recently for Tanner Glass in Tuesday's loss to Winnipeg. While the 23-year-old lacks the experience of the team's other fourth line forwards (Jarret Stoll, Dominic Moore), the young Swede's contributions to last season's playoff-run are clearly not forgotten. Either way, Fast's fantasy value is heavily impacted by his inability to get beyond fourth line duties.

The 23-year-old Fast has six goals and 14 points through 69 career NHL games.
