With a goal in the Stars' overtime loss to Columbus on Tuesday, Spezza has collected his first point since returning from an undisclosed injury on Oct. 29.
EDGE Analysis
Though his 17:41 of ice time is a little lower than you hope to see for the second-line center, he was tied for the most power-play ice time among team forwards and put four pucks on net.

Spezza (undisclosed) is in the lineup Saturday against the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
Spezza has missed the Stars last two games recovering from an undisclosed injury but he had indicated all along that he expected to return in short order. The prolific point scorer will join Antoine Roussel and Radek Faksa on Dallas' first line when puck drops.

Spezza (undisclosed) indicated that he hopes to play in Saturday's road game against the Wild, Michael Russo of the Star Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Stars are banged up with four forwards on injured reserve, but coach Lindy Ruff would be able to rest a bit easier if Spezza shows well in pregame warmups Saturday. Expect the team to officially decide on the veteran playmaker's status around that time.

Spezza (undisclosed) has been ruled out for Thursday's game in Winnipeg, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The injury woes continue for the Stars as they now have seven players dealing with some sort of injury. It's frustrating not knowing the specifics of Spezza's injury or when he's slated to return, especially given he was a game-time decision on Tuesday and is still not available. He'll he'll get another chance to go Saturday in Minnesota.

Spezza (undisclosed) was not on the ice for practice Wednesday morning.
EDGE Analysis
While Spezza's inability to practice Wednesday doesn't bode well for his chances of lacing up against the Jets on Thursday, it's not as if he has been ruled out, either, leaving fantasy owners in a tough spot. It's best to start looking for alternatives in case the savvy veteran proves unfit to play upon the next evaluation.

Spezza (undisclosed) did not take the ice for warmups and so will not play in Tuesday night's game against the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
The Stars can't seem to catch a break with injuries this season and, as such, will lose Spezza for the first time this year. The only bright side is that Spezza was a game-time decision, implying that he'll be a good bet to suit up Thursday for the return game in Winnipeg.

Spezza (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision against the Jets on Tuesday, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Given the number of injuries in Dallas, they can ill afford to have Spezza out of the lineup as well. Through the first five games of the season, the veteran has three points, 12 shots on goal, but is a minus-5. They aren't the type of numbers that will jump of the page, but at this point, the Stars just need healthy bodies to put out on the ice. If Spezza is unable to go, look to Justin Dowling to make his NHL debut.

Spezza (undisclosed) left practice Monday, and is questionable for Tuesday's game against Winnipeg.
EDGE Analysis
The high-scoring veteran has been solid for an injury-ravaged Dallas squad so far this year. If he can't play, the Stars will likely need to call up an AHL player or two before Tuesday's game.

Spezza picked up a first-period assist and sent Thursday's game against Los Angeles to overtime with the game-tying goal late in the third frame, although the Stars ultimately got stuck with a 4-3 loss.
EDGE Analysis
With the Dallas net empty in desperation time, Spezza emerged from a battle along the boards with the puck and wristed it right past Peter Budaj to tie things up, only to see the Kings' Alec Martinez pot the game-winner in overtime. Spezza started slow (minus-4 with no points in the first two games), but he's rounding right into his traditionally productive form.

Spezza sank the game-winning goal against the Predators on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Spezza's campaign had been off to a terrible start, as he skated to a minus-4 rating without any points in the first two games, but he's a savvy, playmaking veteran who can right the ship in a hurry. The 33-year-old has collected 813 points (302 goals, 511 assists) in 845 career contests, and is showing no signs of slowing down. Enjoy the ride.
