Spezza wreaked havoc on Nashville in Thursday's 5-2 home win, picking up a goal to complement a pair of helpers, including one on the power play.
EDGE Analysis
Spezza's first helper was a secondary setup on Jamie Benn's 200th career goal, and both veterans were able to enjoy a three-point night as they complement one another so well. Still, this was only Spezza's second multi-point outing of the season, and he's frequently getting burned on defense as evidenced by the team-worst minus-14 rating. If you're rolling with Spezza on a daily basis, here's hoping the plus-minus category either doesn't count or weighs very little.

Spezza collected a power-play assist and two PIM during Monday's overtime loss to St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
After missing five games with a lower-body injury, the veteran pivot has four assists through seven games, and he hasn't scored a goal since Nov. 3. Spezza has three consecutive 60-point seasons while averaging 2.71 shots per game, though, so an uptick in offensive production and fantasy value going forward shouldn't surprise anyone.

Spezza had an assist and one shot in Thursday's win over Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
It's Spezza's first point since returning from a lower-body injury on Nov. 15. He logged 16:07 of ice time in his return and saw that increased to 20:07 Thursday. That's a good sign that he's back to full health.

Spezza will be back in the lineup Tuesday against the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
Spezza has missed the last five games, but will add some much needed scoring to the Stars' right side. Dallas seem to be putting their early season injury woes behind them and need the 33-year-old to get back to the 60-point player he has been the past three years. The veteran is certainly capable of being a top-end fantasy option, yet needs to consistently be on the ice.

Spezza (lower body) is not ready to rejoin the lineup for Sunday's game against Vancouver.
EDGE Analysis
Spezza will miss a fifth consecutive game Sunday due to the lower-body issue and there's no indication of an official timeline at this point. The veteran did skate Friday, so it's possible his return is around the corner. His next chance to rejoin the lineup comes Tuesday against the Devils.

Spezza (lower body) skated with the game-day scratches Friday, ahead of the evening's road contest against the Oilers, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Spezza has missed the past three games, but even though he'll be out for at least the next one, those with shares in the savvy pivot should be encouraged that he's at least able to skate. Seventeen skaters on the Stars have fewer points than Spezza's five, despite the veteran having only drawn into five games this season; that speaks volumes about his importance to the club. The veteran is day-to-day with Sunday being his next chance to return.

Spezza (lower body) will not play Thursday's road game against the Flames and remains day-to-day, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Spezza, like several Stars' forwards, has struggled with his health this season and the team could really use his goal-scoring prowess now that they rank 20th in the league with 2.5 goals per game. He's notched a respectable four goals in the nine games he's played this season and has been averaging 3:17 on the power play, so hopefully his return will come sooner rather than later for fantasy owners.

Spezza (lower body) skated on Tuesday morning, but will not return to the lineup on Tuesday night in Winnipeg, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The fact that Spezza skated on Tuesday is an encouraging sign, so he'll be worth keeping an eye on ahead of Dallas' next game on Thursday. Brett Ritchie and Adam Cracknell could see more playing time while Spezza remains out.

Spezza (lower body) will not play Sunday after leaving Saturday's game due to injury, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 33-year-old is now another on the list of injured Stars forwards. He has five points in nine games, and was getting solid playing time, so his loss is big for fantasy owners.

Spezza left Saturday's matchup against the Blackhawks with a lower-body injury and will not return, Tracey Myers of CSN Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Spezza exited during the second period after tallying two blocked shots over 8:44 of ice-time. The 33-year-old center missed two games earlier this season with an undisclosed injury but it remains unclear if his most recent ailment is related. The Stars will likely release an update on the Ontario-native's status prior to their Sunday rematch against the Hawks.
