Reimer led the Maple Leafs on the ice for pregame warmups and will get the start in goal Saturday against the Sabres, Ben Koshan of the Toronto Sun reports.
This much was expected after Jonathan Bernier started Friday's loss to the Penguins. Reimer owns ugly ratios for his career against the Sabres (.903 save percentage, 3.22 GAA), but he's somehow managed to compile a 7-2-2 record over those outings.

Reimer is likely to start Saturday's game against Buffalo, reports Jonas Siegel of TSN1050.
He has a strong record against the lowly Sabres, so the start makes sense. And they don't exactly know how to score, so that sounds like a match made in heaven. Use him.

Reimer made 38 saves in a 5-3 win over Ottawa on Sunday night.
He's been getting the bulk of the starts of late, but we're not convinced he has the stamina to keep it up. Or the talent to usurp Jonathan Bernier from the mantle of starter. But he's been a solid play since stepping into the blue paint -- use him when he's in there.

Reimer is expected to make the start in goal Sunday against the Senators, Jonas Siegel of TSN Radio 1050 reports.
Reimer has been better against the Senators than perhaps any opponent he's faced during his career, accumulating a 9-2-1 record, .944 save percentage and 1.98 GAA over 13 appearances. With another impressive outing against Ottawa on Sunday, Reimer should bolster his claim to a larger portion of the goalie timeshare with Jonathan Bernier.

Reimer made 30 saves in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Coyotes.
The 'Yotes went up 3-0 by the 6:34 point in the second period and the team couldn't recover. Optimus Reims has been solid in net, but expect Jonathan Bernier between the pipes next time out.

Reimer will be in the net Tuesday against the Coyotes, Jonas Siegel of TSN Radio 1050 reports.
It was generally thought that the Leafs would go with No. 1 goalie Jonathan Bernier on Tuesday, but coach Randy Carlyle apparently wanted to reward Reimer for his spectacular 45-save outing in a win over the Blackhawks on Saturday. Reimer has seen more action than expected in the early stages of the season, and if he continues to excel (3-1 and 2.47 GAA over five outings), the Toronto goalie situation could turn into more of a timeshare than a strict starter/backup arrangement.

Reimer delivered a strong performance between the pipes Saturday, turning away 45 shots in a 3-2 win over the visiting Blackhawks.
He hadn't played for a couple weeks, but he sure didn't look rusty. He was pelted with pucks at times and battled through. We're not sure this will earn him more frequent starts, but it shows he can deliver in spot situations, even against elite teams.

Reimer will be in the crease Saturday against the Blackhawks, Jonas Siegel of TSN Radio 1050 reports.
Reimer looked to be making a run at a larger portion of the goalie timeshare after notching three starts in a row for the Leafs two weeks earlier, but Jonathan Bernier has since restored order by playing superbly while receiving the past six nods. The backup will spell Bernier for the second game of a weekend back-to-back and doesn't represent an attractive streaming option against a formidable Blackhawks squad.

Reimer entered Saturday's game in relief of starter Jonathan Bernier and stopped all eight shots he faced.
The goalies were switched in an attempt to get the team in front of them a bit more stoked; it didn't work. The team was awful in front both goalies, but Reimer looked calm and collected. He might just get the next start.
